Lawrence (Larry) Lepard is a career investment manager who focuses on sound money and manages funds related to gold, silver, and Bitcoin. He is known for sharing his views on the state of the global financial system, inflation, and the need for sound investments to protect against currency debasement. His ideas and explanations around these topics have helped me immensely in my learning journey about finance, so I am grateful to record this episode with him. I hope you enjoy it!

3 Takeaways 💡
- Efficiency, rather than constant growth, should be the focus of an economy, and sound money plays a key role in achieving efficiency. Sound money is hard to produce and therefore scarce, incentivizing value creation.
- Inflation is a hidden tax that diminishes the value of money and erodes wealth.
- Bitcoin is an invention that introduced digital scarcity, making it a superior form of money compared to gold.

I loved this conversation with Lawrence! Let me know what you think below? 🙏🙏
It could unfortunately be that some audio was not synced correctly as Lawrence froze 2/3 times, so I am not interrupting him, it is the sync 😆
It's him that's interrupting you not other way around lol
@@ryanbaileyboxinghaha I think it is the sync there too
Larry is one of the best!
Fascinating interview.
“The government has done a great job at convincing us it’s the corporations fault for inflation - higher prices and having less product, when in fact it’s the government’s policies + central bank contribution to both” 💥
💯
Lawrence is level headed and clam. He’s one of the best people in the Bitcoin space. Excellent interview.
I agree! Thanks
Clam is what I look for. The problem with stupid people is that they don't know they are stupid.
Larry is butter than any other guest
he's def not a crab or lobster
Thanks, Bram! I just subscribed. I first met Larry during the 2008 Ron Paul for President campaign. I can tell you that his passion for improving the human condition, and his commitment to hard money has never wavered in all the time I've known him. We are fortunate that he generously shares his knowledge, insights and years of financial experiences with the Bitcoin community. You asked some great questions. I enjoyed the conversation.
Thanks for sharing!
The risk is not owning Bitcoin. Rather, the risk is not owning Bitcoin.
💯
Thank you: Lawrence.
Thank you: Bram!
When I grow up I want to be like Mr Lepard.
Larry Always speaks the Facts.
Great conversation. Larry Lepard really gets it.
Thank you!

Always enjoy hearing Lawrence's perspective
Great guest to have! 👍
🙏 very grateful for that!
Top man ! but after all it’s a investment ! That goes up and down it’s like a baby it needs nurturing to make it strong !! 😊
Been waiting for this 🙌🏼
🕺🕺🕺
Hilarious Dynamic here with both parties talking over each other I've never actually witnessed that to this degree😂

I consider myself a conservative politically. Totally agree that both the blue team and red team stink. I’ve come to believe they are just two sides of the same coin. I’ll still vote Republican, but I’m disillusioned by all of them except Trump..
Great Show. I love listening to LL. Could you post a link to the NDX/M2 you mentioned?

If you did mortgage your house, company, boat and wife to buy more, you're under-invested.
*did not

America and west in general doesn't have the politburo but it does have a private version of it called Wall Street etc. if USSR politburo was the pan, these private central planners are the fires.
Great video
Thanks!🙏
Awesome interview. Am jisr waking up to Bitcoin in the last week. I've known about the corrupt financial system for almost two decades but had no clue what to do about it other than by trying to raise the "spiritual consciousness" of myself which I think is a load of shit now. Yes, I want to love my fellow human, but now I see I do that by giving all something of value.
Thanks for sharing Chris! Bitcoin is the way to remove yourself from the system and eventually also raise your consciousness. Check out episode 23 of my podcast with Eric Stacks and also episode 4!
@@bramk Awesome. Thanks Bram! I love how you reply to everyone. I am working on making more Fiat to gradually convert to Bitcoin. Right now I have no savings and am just barely living paycheck to paycheck. Regardless, I am so excited and feel so positive about the future of humanity. You don't need to reply to this, and if you do I won't keep replying back. Lol. All the best. I appreciate all that you are doing to spread the word.

You need to remember there’s a lag when it comes to TCP/IP transmissions. Not everyone has a low latency connection. Let the guest speak during collisions.

If one cannot snap their fingers and Bitcoin appears, then it must be real hard. 😁

Definitely so our world has gotten much worse compared to over 40 years ago. We have technology now that is exponential but human behavior that is degrading just as fast among other problems.
I'd like someone to explain how bitcoin survives the 'fall of all nations'. That's a euphemism for what I really mean.
Be more specific?
@@bramk the collapse of civilization
@@bramk That posted. You have your censors set on low. I usually can't get that phrase to stick..
Edit: I'm now banned. That's funny. . . . . .
If that happens, how much you have invested in Bitcoin will be the least of your worries.
Think about it, please.
@@m.vonhollen6673 I'm actually looking forward to it and preparing. It's inevitable. You don't have to look that hard to see it on the horizon...
American wars aren’t useless. They have to keep that machine well oiled and running. The companies that make all that weaponry have to turn a profit. Not a good situation but it is what it is.
That is the entire point of fiat money
@@bramkI own Bitcoin and understand how great it is, but how does that affect the need for a well-oiled war machine?
We still have to be locked and loaded for possible conflict with another entity. Right?
That is different than actively starting conflicts?
This guy is brilliant but needs to let the interviewer finish his questions without interrupting
