Oh so sorry for being late too much 🙈 When it comes to Buttercream, highly recommend a sort of pound cake rather than too light castella. If u prefer that soft cake, you can try it quiet low height~

Buttercream last max 10 days in the fridge, but after mix with color, 🤔 a couple of days will be all right, coz the color tend to change the tone to vivid mood.

hmm.. 100% animalized whipped cream? If room temp keep quite cold..(under 10 degree of whipped cream ) then probably possible.. But, by vegatable whipped cream? then, available (even though not good quality)
