Happy the original version is easily found on youtube! thank you. Not so happy the guy from the band who finally reissued the record after almost 40 years ago decided to "fix" it with newly recorded guitar tracks. He could have at least included the original version on the CD.
Yeah the reissue almost sounds like the songs were completely re-recorded. I guess they kind of were, which is ridiculous since this EP is pretty much perfect as is.
I've just heard this for the first time yesterday!!!! I'm 49 and can not believe I never heard of them growing up back then with agent orange, Dk,Angelica upstarts.....and so on..but it just goes to show there was so much good indie music in the punk rock that was never heard by everyone. But now I can say thankfully I've heard them and they are really good!!! I really love digging up old school bands you never know what you,ll find!

Should’ve just reissued the original recording without tampering. It was already perfect. I refuse to listen to this reissue. It’s been completely ruined.
I just found out about this band from someone who was a part of this scene back in the day. It's amazing how fresh this EP sounds in 2018. There are many indie bands today trying to imitate this sound. The Brat was truly ahead of their time.
I really like this EP. I googled around and found a copy of a band-published CD at a record store. So that's why I'm not wearing out this TH-cam video anymore.
this was a great band .. I lent it to a friend and never got it back..... one of the bands that formed my teen years. danced and lipsynched in front of the mirror to ,like most people during the 80's

@@CaptainG23 I agree. These guys rocked but I was getting rid of stuff moving in with friends after getting laid off and losing my 1st apt in 82. I was 19 just trying to survive.
I did the exact same thing with more than a few records that later on I fell in love with, and it cost me a f’n fortune to replace. This wasn’t one of those records, but I did do that with the Black Album (The Damned) around ‘81-ish because in my ridiculous teenage opinion it was “hippie shit” 😂

Saw them open for X and Los Lobos several times. Exene did some of the graphics for that EP and it was produced by Tito from The Plugz.
I lived next door to Sidney. I used to hear them practicing in the garage.
I'm 56 and they were really popular in 80.

48 and I'm the same -- just heard them like 6 months ago and they're SO DAMN GOOD! Love it!!
