Yo, I didn't even think about that until you brought it up. None of the final forms (besides Fantasy, mayhaps) are intended to do the Revolve On thing, so capes work as a nifty little visual shorthand for the viewer. Because how would you even translate capes into lower body armor, right?
We're all entitled to our own opinion and i respect that if it's not your cup of tea then yeah , i gotta say tho personally i really like it not only does it look cool but narratively speaking how he gets it and where this new final form comes from is also pretty cool so i have no qualms i also love the chainsaw claw like come on thats metal as fuck
They wanted to give him a proper final form sooner in the show but couldn't due to time constraints. Michi was never going to keep his invincibility powers and having his "final form" coming from a weaker buckle without that ability was never going to work.
I think people want this sooner because they were expecting SOME pay off to him becoming half Jyamato. For me, I was expecting that his Jyamashin form would come about from his jyamato buckle either merging or evolving into a copy of the zombie buckle that was a memento from his friend-a sort of symbolic perversion of his friend's memory via corruption of his base rider form, that would show the consequences of his actions and that, despite starting with a noble reason, the way he went about achieving it would scar him forever, with the drawback of becoming a full-fledged Jyamato from overusing it-but when nothing happened aside from getting a shared power up everyone else stopped using and the bull magia horns, people kind of felt cheated. When he reverted back to using his base form while everyone else was getting their final forms, i figured he was gonna get a v-cinext form, my only grip with Plosion Rage is the missed opportunity of giving him Saber's Elemental Dragon chest lol.
If you want to know what plosion means it means like: a consonant sound that is made by stopping air flowing out of the mouth, and then suddenly releasing it
2:31 its not cheap at all technically speaking a riders final form is just the upgrade they enquire in show. Thats why Garren Jack, and Baron Lemon energy are final forms
i never got the complaints with Plosion Rage when its his "Extra Final" Jyamashin is still his final form that still exists, as shown with the final Beroba fight, its basically his Ultra Instinct: he can only ever pull it out when at the very prime/peak of willpower and intensity Plosion Rage still works and makes sense cause of the Jyamato genes, it practically finishes that whole arc the show didnt, and if they didnt, both Geats and Michi as a character wouldve been more flawed How the form itself is, is subjective, but personally i love it, Silver/Purple is always hit-or-miss color palate choice and i think it works great here to counteract Jyamashins Gold state, His Zombie Breaker now becoming a Giant Hand full of Saw Claws is, intentionally, Metal af, and the name is literal: Plosion Rage = Poison Explosion Rage and personally out of all final dual buckle looks, He has my favorite
Apparently plosion means no nose followed by a scream apparently sounding like a dog Apparently buffa was gonna get a plosion rage like form was gonna be in the show called maoh
I personaly didn’t like the final form too, but lemme just say I loved that helmet ! If I redesign the final form I’d go fill in with the jamato aspect and make the form part jamato monster parts too
I don’t like Jamashin because it’s lame and cheats. I already dislike Michinaga as it is so giving him Plosion rage was already a big improvement compared to gold horns, a cape, gold claw gauntlets and cheating power that is specific. I hate that cheating power.
Speaking of ranting, I dislike Plosion Rage. There are many aspects surrounding this form that creates my negative perception. 1. How the form was acquired. Ace creating the buckle I have no problem with, the dormant Jyamato powers comes out of nowhere. there were no signs after the end of JGP arc where this justification feels valid (progression wise) since the show and character moved on from this plot beat and proceeded to not to acknowledge it ever again. 2. The Design. To this day, it is still not a favourite of mine and here's a bunch of reasons. COLOR SCHEME: I don't understand why it was decided to override purple and orange base form and give it a lethal dose of silver. I think it is to contrast Dooms Geats, but its not as much of the movie was he the main villain. CLAWS: The design of the buckle is two zombie clawed hands, yet the form only has one. which i get, the claw it does have is reused from Gamedeus's shield, which i don't get? As a reuse, this is very creative, but is it a well placed reuse? THE Rest: There's not enough of a talking point when it comes to the rest of the suit is kitbashed from other suit and are used here. Visually, it does not stand to reason why this armor is designed the way it is. It is seemly thrown together with little to no consideration as to adhere to aesthetics of both Buffa's zombie and the wider Geats cast.
Plosion is like poison explosion ya know? Buffa’s concept? (Not being a hater)
I only thought of it as Plosion without the "ex" but you made it makes sense
Geats designers really did like capes I mean every final form in this show has a cape lol

The claw shield do be giving that Armored core V grind blade vibe.

Don't know much about this Kamen series but the form looks cool

I think the way buffa runs in plosion rage is funny

Nah, Plosion Rage is very fitting.
It look cool agurement invalid
Plosion almost sounds like ExPlosion?
Look closely at the shield and it reminds me of game deus's shield from ex aid
I agree with you

Finally, someone that Doesn’t Have BrainDead Comment like the video I just watched
Yeah this just sounds like whining and complaining for the sake of it
agreed with the jymashin buffa is the best final form
I personally thing Jyamashin form is better due to it being very specific. I also hate the color scheme on Rage as well lol.
Agree
