- The bottom of Seneca Lake has almost perfect conditions to preserve shipwrecks and sunken barges because it's so deep and cold, just above freezing, continuously (except for the mussels, unfortunately). Until recent years, no one knew what was really down there. Now we're starting to find out. Thanks to recent advances in technology and scientific exploration, news is starting to emerge. In this video, which is Part #1, I interview Nautical Archaeologist Arthur Kohn who's helping to reveal these deep mysteries.
