i haven't watched the whole reaction yet but i would like to say dpr ian directed AND edited this whole video himself 😭 whenever you see "dpr +ian visuals" written on the screen in the beginning, even when it's backwards, he directed it himself!!
DPR Ian had previously talked abt his struggles with bipolar disorder, and that is where the inspirations of MITO(Moodswings In To Order) came from. MITO is the other side of himself, the supposedly bad side of him. He opened up abt taking medications, he said he was able to sleep and that he couldn't hear the voices in his head anymore. But that ultimately made his life felt meaningless. So he stopped the medications, and try to accept MITO as a part of him, and take him as a strength instead of a liability. He finally felt the purpose of life when he started finding himself and accepting MITO into his life. He has since used his journey of acceptance as inspirations for his art and projects, and that reflects in his videography and also his musicality!

also "mito", one of his characters based on this album trilogy ("mito" (the first ep), miito (this recent album), and the third will be released in the future) stands for "moodswings in this order". mito represents his downs and the lowest of his lows. dpr ian was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and this entire trilogy is based off that and his experience going thru his highs and lows while having bipolar disorder.
Christian is a whole genius. Acting, dancing, singing, directing, editing, down to the vfx and sound design - he does it all. The entire team at DPR is one of a kind honestly, I'm so excited to see them live in September. Thanks for reacting!!

I am very proud for all the recognition that he's finally receiving, I think that everyone needs to know DPR because their art and their history can be a great inspiration to move forward and pursue our dreams and for me it is inexplicable everything that they make me feel. i'm so sorry that i keep making separate comments and spamming, i'm just adding my two cents as i watch the reaction 😭 but in this video, it's mainly mito, who is recognized to have one eye and he's always wearing a ring with an eyeball on it, his "normal" self who was in the room trying to run away from mito, and then a new character who ian said was introduced thru this video. it's the guy who's wearing a mask and wearing all white, who a lot of fans theorize is "mr. insanity" bc of the trailer that was released before this. my theory is if mito is representative of his lows, i think mr. insanity will represent more of his manic episodes that comes with having a bipolar disorder. i could be wrong tho lmao but yes, in his documentary he released before the first ep was released, he mentioned having a bipolar disorder and has mentioned it quite a few times during ig lives, so yes that article is accurate!!
We might be waiting for part 2 forever lol cuz he said this movie and making the album and taking part in producing, editing, directing, acting, writing and every part of this album took a lot out of him so during his IG live it sounded like there might not be a part 2 but after watching some interviews he did he has worked on some parts of PT2 but we don't know how long it will take (Those who also watched his IG live feel free to correct me)
Christian wrote and composed all the songs and directed and edited (even the vfx!!) everything MITO is a trilogy and this album is the second installment of the series.

I woke up and realized I could see through my eyelids and then felt myself being pulled down the hallway towards a skeleton with hands reaching out to pull me towards it. I woke up with sleep paralysis and it took a while to break out of that prison.
many people commented on relevant things here, but I needed to talk about the sound itself...honestly, we know that he is a genius in interpreting the message he wants to convey and conditioning them in various artistic formats, whether in the visual production, in the lyrics and, mainly, in the sound... in this part 11:59 I think the instrument and the orchestral sound with the organ closes the entire interpretation of this video that has biblical references and so on. I just love everything he does, he inspires me so much
