Warning: prices for this build are exalts + at the moment. I tried to use this as a league started but it seems as though everything is pretty expensive at the moment. I managed to get to tier 7-8 maps and 2 watch stones. I was working on an exalted but quickly realized ive hit a wall because i have to grind 3-4 more exalts for simple flasks & that necklace of his. Also the iron skin is quite iffy on console & will not activate as frequently as you would like. Golem items are expensive & cluster jewels also go for exalted. This builds totals around 6 exalts to clear tier 16 maps & to get one shot by ultimatums. I must say, this is an extremely satisfying build though. Ill be coming back to it.
I found the perfect "Ideal" number of Golems to be 5. Instead of the Golem Amulet, I use Solstice Vigil (Amulet that grants Free Temporal Chains curse) which slows everything around you to a crawling pace, Making the game more like "Easy Mode". I amplify my Slow further with '30% Increased Temporal Chains Effect" Mod on Helmet. I feel us Casters are vulnerable to spike damage and moments where we are still casting the skill, Unlike melee who clear fast. I found Temporal Chains (Enemies slowed by upto 40%) a great "Quality of Life" Feature which is much more useful than 9 Golems. So I'm doing fine with 5 Golems (With the Anima Stone). If you ever find yourself taking too much damage, try my idea with the "Solstice Vigil", Its way cheaper too.
Followed this build to a T, except im running poacher's mark on ring because im too lazy to apply to bosses, and it's great. Random 1 shots do happen in t16 ultimatums, but I've experienced that with a lot of builds so thats not overly surprising. It straight melted t16 hunter and plenty of other bosses and wipes trash like its nothing. Thank you for the build, really enjoying it.
Do you suggest taking the cluster jewel tree early and after getting it set up , take the other nodes in the skill tree? or should i focus tree first and only cluster at much later levels (90+)
Honestly, I think unleash is still good on big bosses and I prefer to keep it. Being able to dodge attacks and only have to cast once like every 2 seconds to get your 3 stacks on the bosses is a decent enough QoL to justify losing some damage.
Getting a friend into PoE and i am wondering what build guide would be the best for someone fresh starting. Easy to level, decent to progress with little cost. As well as only using quest rewards and such to get them through the acts. Any suggestions on what build would be best for this?
Why take 'spiritual aid' on the left of the tree? does it affect golems? and if it does, the primordial chain gives up to 45% less damage for golems that i get too? I don't understand why this pick

Small question on the "use on big bosses", what bosses fall under this? I'd understand it would be for the Elderslayers, but for lets say early mapping or acts, it wouldnt matter a lot, right? Tho i understand if swapping is better for acts, as it'd net much more dps. Also, I love you now also include the elderslayers in the clips, gives me hope i can once beat their darn booties for once, i always fail at Sirus.
It kinda looks like Arc, as in you need to stop for a short moment to cast. It's biggest difference is the use of Unleash with Exsanguinate I think, and the DoT it applies

I think earth is because they benefit from the +6 levels from the daggers. After 1 of each the bonuses are just cumulative and doesn’t matter which are out, but you want 1 of each at least
How can you say its cheap (IE Chaos) when the Anima Stone is worth around 1.2 exalts. I like your builds because there very easy to follow and detailed but 1.2 Exalt is not cheap.

This was on a 15ex budget, so was able to afford pretty much everything. Will be league starting with this next league (granted nerfs doesn't happen).

Just as Divine Ire and Penance Brand were Physical skill that scales your ignite DPS, why not use Ignite for more DoT scaling instead of shock?
Do you change your golem set up at all? Like running more fire golems for low to mid map farming or do you stick to the 2-2-2-3 set up?
I may be stupid, but i dont quite get the « shaper of storms » in the Ascendency. Are we not dealing physical damage?
I am not able to use all 3 auras at once, is there something im doing wrong with my mana?
Honestly, I think unleash is still good on big bosses and I prefer to keep it. Being able to dodge attacks and only have to cast once like every 2 seconds to get your 3 stacks on the bosses is a decent enough QoL to justify losing some damage.

Not map bosses but your big bosses such as elder guardians, shaper guardians, sirus etc.
I havent tried the new gem cause it feels like a delay on use, im more into fast casting, but i guess i will give it a shot!
