Don't listen to negativity. Just do what you want.
It was very intelligent of you to read PAST any upset or negativity any people posted, to see WHAT the ISSUE was that got people upset. So many younger people these days don't seem to want to hear anything except how perfect they are; anything else MUST be avoided - never mind any negative words or tone - even though negative words & tone are usually BECAUSE of something you, or who you represent have done.
(I am NOT one of those who said anything negative though, so this isn't in self defence. I was just in customer SERVICE before, where SERVICE WAS emphasized.)
It is just smart AND compassionate of you to see what YOU have done to upset people, so that you can fix these SPECIFIC relations - & avoid future upsets in the same way. MORE PEOPLE should learn from your very commendable, considerate & responsible attitude.
I was one of the people that said that if you have already done the work, you SHOULD drop the videos. It is good to understand why you haven't done so yet - & your idea why was a good one.
(I am not really knowledgeable about anything computer related, so I am not 100% positive I understood the rest of your comments about the cutting & splicing. If it will be similar to a reaction done specifically for TH-cam, then why not? It won't harm you to give it a try will it? & if you don't get the traffic after a month or 2, (to make sure people have come back to check what you are doing), you could decide to stop.
Just my thoughts on all of this.

I guess you have to have a thick skin to be a music reactor because of the amount of haters out there. You have to deal with the haters as well as the politics of TH-cam. I wouldn't want to do this. When listeners think that you should know this song and they give you hell because you don't know this song because everybody in the whole world knows this song. No thanks.
