Oooh these are cute. They remind me of the flower from the naupaka plant. It's a native plant where I'm from and there are two varieties, the beach naupaka and the mountain naupaka. Both have the same half flower. The legend goes there were two lovers separated by a jealous god and a more sympathetic god turned them into the two naupaka plants so they could be reunited if their two half flowers ever met. They have a yellowish center with a slightly longer white petal.
