    Supplies:
1.5 inch thin hair elastic amzn.to/35BxobV
    cotton yarn amzn.to/3o6B7oo
    fish hook earrings amzn.to/34hg6A8
    jewelry jumprings amzn.to/3g6mwVp
2.75 mm crochet hook amzn.to/3HgVaaY (my favorite hooks)
    3.25 mm crochet hook amzn.to/3raM8GY
    needle nose jewelry pliers amzn.to/34jA5Ou
    measuring tape amzn.to/3AGrnGc
    rotary cutter amzn.to/3g97xKq
    cutting mat amzn.to/3g61LsY
    comb amzn.to/3g6bWOa
    Basic Instructions:
    1. Fold your hair elastic in half so it i doubled up on top of each other.
    2. Slip stitch onto the double hair elastic. Single chain around the entire thing. Push the stitches together and finish single crocheting to the end.
    3. When you have gone around with your single stitches and get back to the beginning, slip stitch into your first chain. Weave your ends in.
    4. Cut 20, 6 inch strands of yarn.
    5. Attach the tassels in 5 chains next to each other, 2 strands per chain. I use a larger crochet hook for this. It makes it easier to pull the strands through.
    6. Place earrings on a cutting mat. Using a rotary cut the tassel strings into a "V" shape.
    7. Attach the jump rings and fish hooks to the top of your earrings.
    All done! :)

Hi! I am using a 2.75 mm crochet hook, but if I crochet with very loose tension. If you are a tight crocheted I’d bump it up a couple sizes. The yarn is a worsted weight (4) yarn. Hope this helps!

What is the thickness of the yarn? Is it the same with the one used for macrame?

    • @pontneufstudio
      @pontneufstudio  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Neek! This is a worsted weight yarn. This is the yarn I used in the thumbnail picture www.lionbrand.com/products/re-up-yarn and I've used this yarn too www.yarnspirations.com/lily-sugarn-cream-the-original-yarn/102001.html

@@magic.weaver before i had pliers i opened them with tweezers and then just squeezed them shut with my fingers. even with the pliers i still just squeeze them shut with my fingers sometimes, but it is tricky to open them without them.
