This is the fish I've been looking for small sized self-sustaining aquariums 🙂They are smallest and feed mostly on live food - both are necessary traits for my purposes. And they are real fun to watch! It's a many years long project 😁
Very exiting indeed! Exquisite little darlings 🥰 I heard Ramshorn snails loved carrots, THEY SURE DO!!!! I had to take the slices out after two days, they were spending nearly all day on them!! Next time I want to sell another 50 I’ll just bait a pool net, sit back n wait a few minutes!! God bless your adventures with the new babies 🙏✝️. ✌️🇷🇺☮️🇺🇦✌️. 🙋♀️🤍🇮🇱
They behave very different from guppy and endlers. Watching these little fighters is very engaging and you really have to watch them close - step 3 feet away from the tank and I could not see them at all! Perfect fish for small tanks. I am so happy to have them ☺
Great video! These are some of my favorite fish to keep. I'm glad you were able to find them locally! I hope to look for them in the wild someday since there are some small documented populations near where I live. I hope yours produce many more babies!
Thank you very much! My fish is breeding already - 10 babies so far 😊In a couple months or so I am planing to start a couple experiments with them. It's going to be fun! I love them!! Good luck to you in finding wild species!!
Thank you very much! The limited space of my aquariums is the main obstacle. It's always hard to move away from something I spend years with. It's hard emotionally. I've been enjoying to learn more about Least killifish in the past months and have been preparing a lot of videos about them. I believe they are very interesting and promising species for small size aquarium gardens many people would enjoy to have.
I've been keeping scuds in all my aquariums and have been farming them in separate tanks for feeding fish. Scuds are one of the simplest to keep and breed. They populations going up and down - that's normal for any living organisms. There are ways to control it. And there is always a chance that colony may get crushed. The only practical way of safeguarding against crush is to have 2 or more colonies at all times. Here a playlist of my videos about scuds: th-cam.com/play/PLM88hGt0AfGvtqfgXKeGuTi826S38Atam.html Hope it helps you.
Also, you may try Vinegar eels for feeding small fish - those are extremely simple to culture. I can give you some if you can meet with me at Roosevelt island NYC.
@@4me I live in Utah.. else I would have found you by now :D Thank you! I started my aquarium inspired by you 2 years ago.. the fish mostly survive on their own so far.. with an automatic feeder.
I finished the project when I got Endlers. Gave away all my dwarfs to make space for new projects. Life is beautiful and full of new adventures. Least killifish is a new chapter I am planning to explore.
Wow! You tried another species of fish 😂🎉

Very nice! I’m sad you aren’t doing guppies anymore, but I’m happy you get to try out a fun new species of fish. They look very cool 😃

Hello
Are your dwarf guppy generations still continue to adventure?
I finished the project when I got Endlers. Gave away all my dwarfs to make space for new projects. Life is beautiful and full of new adventures. Least killifish is a new chapter I am planning to explore.
