when I watch these lectures I rarely see the time dilation involved in relation to Hawking radiation. Time slows down near the event horizon COMPARED to the outside universe. Therefore what an outside observer sees as the evaporation of a Black hole in trillion years, could be immediate for the observer at the event horizon. so the black hole does not exists because by the time you reach its event horizon it already have evaporated.
