Grilled bamboo rice in North Vietnam mountains - Sapa Part 1

Welcome to Sapa! Join us for a walking tour + dinner on our first day! The suggestive atmosphere is emphasised by a thick mist which makes it a very special video. After walking around, we found this place where they grill all sorts of food, even rice! ''Lam'' rice is a typical dish of ethnic minorities of the mountainous areas of Northern Vietnam and try it with crushed peanuts, sweet potatoes and courgettes.
Our backpacking trip begins in the North of Vietnam in Hanoi (Hà Nội), heading South as far as Hoi An (Hội An) and back again.

Grilled skewers (xien nuong) - are described as ''one of the tastiest Sapa street foods'', and we also found interesting the rice cooked in bamboo (''Lam'' rice is a typical dish of ethnic minorities of the mountainous areas of Northern Vietnam).
