At 6:37, when I click on the boundary surfaces, the green area selected is a flat rectangle, as for you, it’s only the join curves between the triangle that is selected. I did exactly the same thing as you, and at the end, when I bake the 3 components, the cavity are more present on my surface, it’s just a flat wall…
If you meant Surface offset, use Surface Offset from Pufferfush Plug-in, or if you want to do Point Extrusion on both side, just use also Negative component to Unit Y so you will have both.
but i have 1 question at time 7:19 brep join has 2 input info from G (move) and E (extrude) .. in my file while working on it , i can input just one info from G or E .. i dont know what s the problem
I enjoyed retreating this model! thank you so much! is there a way a can recreate the same pattern but in a cube? instead of being only onto a wall. @ 0:32 you used a rectangle would it work if I made a cube instead?
When you connect nodes, grasshopper calculates that command. As I said, I did nothing but you watched delayed calculation on the screen. It is litterally Surface Split command.
Hello when I connect point (including the ones assigned) to the geometry in pull point, many surfaces are created and interfere with the triangles, can you help ??
Hi, great tutorial so far! Which Plug-in do I need in order to get the Mesh Explode function? I´m kinda stuck there. Thanks in advance.
I think that is Meshedit. www.food4rhino.com/app/meshedit
@@JuneLeeDesign Thanks a lot for the input June, it was indeed MeshEdit. Much Appreciated as I´m learning a lot through your tutorial.

I am not sure I got it but please make sure you checked Flatten.
Thanks for the nice tutorial! is it possible to make it double faced (so en extrusion on both sides), and cutting a small part out as a pattern?

Thank you for your effort in doin these video .. ive learned aloot .. keep going 👍

Press shift key to connect multiple nodes.

You need to set 4 vectors to do point extrusion. I suggest you to bake 4 different model and assemble in rhino space.
@@JuneLeeDesign got it!
Hello, how could the same result be achieved with a non-planar surface?
If it is untrimmed surface, you can use Morph, or you can have that by getting perpendicular vector direction of each triangle to do Point Extrude.
is there a substitute command I could use instead of mesh explode? I cannot install the mesh edit tools for grasshopper
I am not sure. How about doing it in Rhino space and reference to it GH.
Great tutorial, thank you, learned a lot!
Where do you get your 3D models of the people?

how to split each face to cut it?
Use deconstruct brep and get Faces
when you click on the surface split, and that color wheel pops up, and then your fragment pattern reappears, what is that? (2:35)
Did nothing. Color wheel is a loading sign in the MacOS.
@@JuneLeeDesign what is it that you do that makes the Delaunay pattern appear over the block surface once you have connected the surface split?

Pull Point doesn't make any surface. Please explain a little bit more specific to understand.
