Thanks for a very helpful review. I’ve always ridden fully faired American style touring bikes with full fairings. Something like a Bonneville T120 or a BMW R9T. On the tourers I’ve always worn a half shell, or a Bell 3/4. But for the retro sport I’d like to switch to a modular. I recently tried a Nolan at the Montreal bike show, and was impressed with its design and natural fit to my head. I also like the fact that the chin bar doesn’t stick way out or up when tilted up. This review has given me more confidence to go for the Nolan.
Bought the Neotec II when it first came out. Fit, finsh and quality are amazing and typical Shoei. But, and it's a big but, it weighs a metric tonne. My Large with intergrated Sena weighs in at just on 1.8Kg. I can get about 4 hours ride time before my neck starts to hurt and headache starts. I have retired it and gone back to a full face one piece. Once Shoei decide to drop Sena and start using more CF to drop weight, I'll return to a modular. Maybe it works better more upright than on a sports tourer - who knows.

Wow, no LS2.
NEOTEC II is the winner
Lekker accent maat, moest toch heel even twijfelen of het nou toch stiekem brits was.
British, born and bred!
Thanks brother
I dont see the LS2 Valiant Jeans here, and THAT is the best modular hybrid helmet of 2020. And 2021.
Prices would have been nice
Hi Ron,
Prices are shown at the end of every 'helmet review', so 3:26 for the Scorpion, 5:05 for the ROOF etc.
No i90? best bang for buck
