I was in Camden Yards that day and this is the loudest I've ever heard it. The bottom of the 8th was electric. I hope we have more moments like that in the next few years. Let's go O's

Imagine what we could have done that year if we were fully healthy. Having machado, wieters, and a prime chris davis, we could have easily beaten KC. They had one of the best pitching staff at the time and had so much depth. And just imagine a o’s giants world series.

The 1969 team was one of the greatest teams in the history of baseball not to win the World Series.., they won 114 games… i love the O’s just as much as u and was just as disappointed they didn’t win in 2014 but calm down … you don’t know you’re O’s history enough to make that comment … maybe you’re young but the 1969, 1971 and 79, and 1997 Orioles would beg to differ with worst things lol
Man the crowd was great that game. When we gave Chamberlain a standing O. Have never seen that before. Might very well have messed him up that inning.

I also became an Orioles fan in 2017, and I’ll admit, it is pretty fun to play spoiler like we did against the Nationals although the playoffs would be a lot more fun (and stressful)

Kathy Moore - Wasn’t Just the loudest the stadium has ever been. I was in upper deck and entire stadium was shaking. By far the best / loudest moment in history of the stadium.
@@chrisfrank2664 Yes, you are correct. I was blessed to attend that game in person ( I still have the ticket stub). I'm 55 years old and a lifelong Orioles fan and I've attended 2 to 3 regular season games each year ever since Camden Yards opened. So I'm guessing I've been there for 50 to 60 games total (also attended 40 to 50 games at the old Memorial Stadium). I've been lucky enough over the years to see Eddie Murray's 500th home run and Cal Ripken's 400th in person and unlucky enough to attend the game they gave up 30 runs to the Texas Rangers. I was there for several Oriole walk-off wins and bottom of the 9th comebacks (all regular season games.) It's not even close, that hit by Delmon Young was by far the loudest Camden Yards has ever been and overall my most exciting moment as a sports fan. I've bookmarked this video on my computer and I will watch that hit at least 4 or 5 times a year. When I go through a time when I'm really depressed about the O's, I'll watch this video and it always cheers me up.

this was the greatest moment of my life. the ability to watch this game there and skip school was amazing.
I have been an Orioles fan from my earliest memory, the victory parade following the 1983 World Series triumph over the Phillies... Since the exoduses of Jon Miller, Davey Johnson and Mike Mussina in the kate 90s, it's been a tough ride. This is one of the very few unforgettable moments since. My favorite remains Robert Andino knocking the Red Sox out of the playoffs in the final days of, I believe it was the 2011 season, which may have been a major catalyst in the successful run over the next half decade or so to follow, including this moment

As a Phillies fan I loved the Orioles these years, went to the ALCS game 1 (blech) this was the most excited I’ve been able to get as a baseball fan, totally out of breath from yelling and jumping in my living room.
Great moment. As a red sox fan, the double is comparable to the grand slam big papi hit in the alcs against the tigers.
We didn't go on to win the next series, but this was one of the biggest hits in Os history from to 1983-2014

I want to experience this atmosphere again with the O’s I lost my love for baseball because the O’s were horrible year after year hoping O’s magic returns soon and we take over again

The Orioles this year (2014) was frankly the best we had since '83 but the MLB just had to stick there noses into our season and suspend Davis and which during the series against the Royals we could have had a shot to come back and win the series and we possibly went to the World Series
the O's are playing really well, but their fans are not showing up at this level.
