I was in the U.S. Army and wished I could have served along side a Scottish unit while in Germany. Your units have a proud history, especially your honored dead from service in The Great War, WWII, and the Falklands War. God bless Scotland.
I am from the Sudan believe or not. whenever I hear this my hair stand, God Bless
For those of us whom are Scottish - it brings a tear of pride to my eye!

Love how organised they are, may Scotland and their Music last forever, in everyone's mind and heart. Some how, this sound of bagpipes is able to drive me forward. The Drug called Music, greetings.
We watched them march at Edinboro in 1943. Takes me back to me roots. Listen to my tribute to US and British Troops serving in Afghanistan and Iraq: Grandpa Clarence Jones God bless. This music stirs the soul. The March on Fincastle. Reminds me of home.
I am scottish, english, french, irish and american indian & this gives me goose bumps. ed, from san jose, ca, usa

OMG, I'm homesick for Este Park!
Our classic farewell to the summer season in the incredible Rocky Mountains.
i can tell you, having been in many military parades as a cadet, and being a bass drummer in our band, there is nothing quite like the feeling a good set of drums gives you. you feel its beat reverbeate in you stomach and heart.
this is a fine performance of a good old marching song. thnaks for uploading
High in the misty Highlands,
Out by the purple islands,
Brave are the hearts that beat
Beneath Scottish skies.
Wild are the winds to meet you,
Staunch are the friends that greet you,
Kind as the love that shines
from fair maidens' eyes.
Towering in gallant fame,
Scotland my mountain hame,
High may your proud standards, Gloriously wave,
Land of my high endeavour,
Land of the shining rivers,
Land of my heart for ever,
Scotland the brave.
As a born and bred full red blooded Scot I salute North America for recognising the Alba roots and at the same time I hope they give more recognition to the North American natives because they have a lot more in common with the Scots than many people realise.
Proud brave and true to the end.
i love the Scotland Brave. i am a german CELTIC and my heart life's for Scotland!!!
The same bagpipes and drums that led them into war playing Scotland the Brave, also lead those who have bravely fought in wars, fought with enemies such as cancer, and the ravages of old age upon their bodies, back to their ancestors waiting for the clan to be reunited. It stirs our heart, brings tears to our eyes, keeps our memory alive and our hopes for the future for another gathering of the highlanders.
As an Ex-Marine[Vietam-Tet], and participant of two Rose Bowl Bands["67 and "69] and Boy's of '76 Drum Corps[ Racine, Wisc.] what I love about " Scotland the Brave" is that it stands above Nationalism/Religion and speaks for Individual freedoms and liberty.
AHO !!! AHO !!! AHO !!!
May God Bless America; keep Britain GREAT; keep Scotland BRAVE; and save the Queen...and return to the Throne of David!
God bless Scotland, our closest ally and brother. sincerely from an Englishman
Nothing gets my blood going like the sound of the Pipes. Makes me want to go out and slay the dragon in the name of Scotland, the land of my ancestors. God Bless Scotland The Brave.

What a lovely performance and the pipes are the best for the dunblaine cathedral and IN nineteen ninety six years ago there was a tragedy in the dunblaine primary school sixteen pupils and a teacher who was shot dead in the gym ❤
So am I.
Bagapipes are one of the most beautiful sounding instruments exsting.
I'm only 1/4 Scottish (my father's mother's side) but it's the part of my heritage that I'm most proud of. Just to put it out there, my grandmother was part of the Cooper family which descended from the Douglas clan. Jamais Arriere!
Thank you. Stirring performance. Jeff, Age 52...descendant of JA Wilson, who immigrated to the USA from Glasgow, SCOTLAND in the mid-1880s
Bagpipes give me goosebumps just make me soo proud for out culture.
I love mixing the old with the new, a bagpipe outfit with a U.S. Marine outfit, they complement each other. Is an incredible mixture of sound!
Since I am child the scothish music have liked so much.
as an ex irish gaurdsman in the queens household divisions, i can honestly say that THAT, is music that brings ur blood to boil and makes you want to march alongside them
WOW!!! I love the sound of bagpipes.
It's wonderfull!!!
I'm Proud to say that I am Scottish. Oh and I had my first pipe lesson today with my PaPa[he's a brilliant bagpiper].
Im a Gilchrist, part of the MacLachlans. Who fought alongside William Wallace and Robert the Bruce, I have done my research. How proud I am of my family history!
my roots are scottish (my great grandfather) and i am proud of this !
I agree. I'm American, (but have Irish, Scottish and a little English.. mostly Irish) I love the sound of those pipes they move something in me and sometimes bring me to tears! I hate when they are diluted with anything else. I can barely stand the drums with them. lol

I live in USA and really like these bagpipes and this song. what a cool lifestyle! kick ass video man!
This always brings the patriotic side of me through. Makes me proud. I am thinking of joining the Scots Guards, hopefully if I do join I'll hear more of this.
Scotland ... the home of a fair but stern people. It's no wonder that they're the backbone to most modern and successful countries in the world today!
Regardless of spoilers, this is great and stirring tune.
Lucky that day for bright sunlight. By the second weekend in September it often rains and even snows on this weekend in Estes Park, Colorado.
I love the bagpipes, but that seems to be quite a rarity around here. Most people I know don't just dislike them.. They HATE them. Apparently the distinct sound really annoys some people. Bleh, they're crazy. It sounds awesome! :)
I'm always fascinated when I watch these kinds of bands. Not just with the bagpipers, but the almost machine gun sound from the drums. It's a very distinct sound and it amazes me that people can even drum that fast. lol
It's been said there are only two kinds of people in the world, those who love bagpipes and those who hate them. Having Scottish ancestry, I happen to love em.
***** Hehe I like that saying. I have no Scottish ancestry at all though. I'm a Dane.. With a German or two like 6 generations ago or something like that. Not sure why I fell in love with the bagpipes really.. It just sort of happened. :)
Amazing march, respect from Canada. God bless as Hassmahmoud said.
@lolbizkitz - Me too! Robert's daughter Marjorie's great-grandson James I had a daughter (Joan) who married James Douglas (1st Earl of Morton). Their granddaughter Agnes married Alexander Livingston (5th Lord Livingston of Callandar), and their daughter Elizabeth married a Buchanan. Two of her eighth-generation descendants (who were first cousins) were Elizabeth (my 4th-great-grandmother) and James (15th US President).
Omaha Nebraskan here and I love this music!

Any man that marches into battle in a dress is one bad mo-fo! Love the pipes!
The sound of bagpipes is an inspiring one.
and some of the best traditional music ever!
Great Britain is a real country... You're part of it!!! And i'm all for equal rights for men and women thank you very much!!
There is just something about a mass band playing "Scotland the Brave" that brings a tear to the eye. The Scots would be lead into battle playing this; incredible.
Im from Germany, an i say... LONG LIVE SCOTLAND AN FOREVER FREE!!!!!!!
no wunder our boys marched over the trenches in ww1, wa our music so strong makeing every scot brave and proud to fight for his nation !
I wish my grandpa was still alive to hear this! 5/5!
Pride, Honour and Grace...
This is Scotland
Keeping in mind that if, as stated, this is the band of the King's Own Scottish Borderers they're from Berwick which is south of the River Tweed. While their football club plays in Scotland technically the town's in England. But then again the Border Clans (I'm an Elliott) resisted both Scottish & English rule for centuries.
hey what a buzz that gives me especially me being a scot living in england
The Scots have long had a tradition as some of the finest soldiers in the world. The Romans recruited heavily in Caledonia and among Celts because of their ferocity and their fighting prowess but the Scots became well known for their willingness for a fight and their skill which is why they are often considered elite military units. And the pipes, put it this way, the English outlawed their use on the battlefield because of their effect on the Scots in battle. Alba Gu Brath!
Oh god this music gives me goosebump! I love it!
That's just awesome. Love the bagpipes.
Scotland the Brave - I love this tune ! one of the the best melodies I know ! big+++5 for that vid ! thx for sharing
Nice march. Greetings from Germany. I was 3 times in scotland and can tell: don't trust the blue sky. It's there for minutes only ; ). Long live Scotland.
Aaaaaagh, bagpipes make you tremble like nothing else!
Scots are indeed brave and proud people. Music just comes to testify to these qualities. Long live free Scotland!
You're absolutely right =-)
It's kinda sad the Americans claim their country to be the land of the free, but Scotland is. It was and always will be a symbol for freedom
bloody awesome especially with green hills of tyrol in the end
