I genuinely like the way the characters here are drawn better than how Satam and AOSTH drew him, I'm not sure why that is, they're basically similar to the designs in the show but some how they're drawn better here than in the actual show
Probably because they are done digitally as opposed to cel animation, which made the drawings look slightly muddy, mixed with the colors maybe not looking the best when airing vs the master copies.( SpongeBob had this problem back in S1, the cels looked more vibrant vs the actual aired episode)

Only thing I'd change is adding some type of animation while holding notes, even if it's just two frames of slightly different variations of a single pose, just so the sprites don't get locked in place for a period of time. It looks slightly jarring when the sprites don't move during a note hold, especially since it naturally contrasts with the overwhelming movement and fluidity of the animation when hitting a note so much. Besides the nitpick, literally S-tier work.

some mods actually do this as well (i actually animated mine back in 2022 like this) but it takes alot longer to make them smoother so people dont do it as much
