    I recently acquired a Neural Quad Cortex after all this time and was very excited to finally get to try it out. In this video I give my initial impressions along with showing some of the first presets I created with it along with some Neural Captures I did with my amp collection. I really hope you enjoy this look at the Quad Cortex and don't forget to follow me on Cortex Cloud.

    Thank you! Since moving on from the Helix, I was sad to lose your input on my modeler of choice. Now.... you are back!! Awesome! It is great to add a less metal voiced opinion to the QC YT community, alongside Steve Starlucci. Not everyone is looking for 80 flavors of crushing metal chug. Good for those who are, but for the others who only need that on occasion, more classic tones and approaches are welcome. Anyways... welcome!

    I have been following you for some time now and I love your videos since the content is amazing and I learn a lot watching them... and casually I have acquired a Quad Cortex last week and since I'm not an expert creating tones I feel like I'm wasting all the potential the QC has and I'm really happy to know that you are going to create videos about how to get the most of it both tonally and technically. I can't wait to see your next videos. Thank you!

    Your Helix vids helped me understand that unit better than anyone else. I've since moved on to the Quad Cortex, and I'm very excited to see your take!

    Aha no 17 to follow you on cortex cloud! So stoked for this! I have a couple other modelers but I keep gravitating back to the Quad. Love that you are making content for this now. So glad neural sent you one (which is a huge compliment because they don’t seem to send those around easily!). Great video and can’t wait to keep watching

    Thanks for all you do man, great videos. SUH-DITE-US! Finally you say your last name. Glad to hear that you aren't the leader of the SAD-ITES. That would be sad.

      I was thinking the same thing. I always thought it was pronounced saydites now I'll never say it wrong again. 😂

    How do you compare it to Tonex, considering they are in different price ranges? Also, if you don't want too many effects, how do they compare in terms of amp modeling sound and ease of use? Which one you like more?
    Thank you.

    How would you compare this to the fractal axe fx 3

    One issue I'd like to learn more about is getting levels right. My captures are loud in comparison to default ones. I just dial it back in the preset when using it but wondering if perhaps I need a lesson on this, hint hint.

    Interesting that you have this now. I’ve tried the QC a few times and I never got good tones from the models. (to be honest, I didn’t like your tones here either, I’ve had a Jubilee but that’s long gone). Also the usage was nowhere as easy as Helix - despite the touch screen. Obviously that doesn’t replace good logic. I don’t have any amps that I’d model, it’s totally useless feature. There are many youtubers who are doing that. I also have no interest of going through hundreds of snapshots of amps from the cloud. Hope you explore the models in there, that’s more interesting!

    A good idea for a video for you that I havent seen done well is a video on how to create tracks with DI and reamping utilizing the QC.

    • @JasonSadites
      @JasonSadites  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can do that for sure! Are you talking about how to capture the DI track from the QC and then re-amp it through the QC?

    • @JimsMusicJourney
      @JimsMusicJourney หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JasonSadites Yes exactly. You need to use the QC as an interface for it to work. I utilize two mono tracks. The first is set mono 1 which is the DI. The next is mono USB 3. Then when I reamp I switch the out on the di track in cubase to usb 5. Then in QC I use usb 5 as input and usb 7 as output. Add a track in cubase as usb 7. Took me forever to figure this out. No good videos describing the importance of setting busses correctly.
