Personally i think he has been found wanting this season ,the championship is a different level. His tactics in league 1 were spot on but this season with far better teams some of his team selections have been strange and at times i think he was lost for ideas. Personally i think he has gone at the right time for Argyle and we now have a bit more money to spend in January, onwards and upwards Argyle are far bigger than any manager.
Stoke or anybody don't feel sorry for Plymouth Argyle in losing Shumacher. He's now history and we more on. The next manager will take us to the next level.
@@ChampionshipTerraceTalk agree with your sentiment, but reasons 😉supporter of Plymouth for 72 years and as old fashioned as it seems in this day and age,if he had left at the end of the season he’s a legend 👍if he had gone to a premier club or club in a different division (as he knows our style of play and players he’s a legend 😉the fact he has chosen a club directly in opposition to us for money or status disgusting 🥵the fact he has taken other members of stafff !!!! he’s a snake has no loyalty in his character whatsoever and believe me I’m really sorry as I did once respect him
The problem is he isn't experienced enough for the championship if i was stoke i would of gone with someone like Steve cooper, people seem to forget Schumacher isn't very good defensively.
He's left Argyle must have felt the hurt when Ryan Lowe shafted Argyle. Shame he could have been a legend at home park.. Stoke aren't going to as loyal as Argyle board and chairman....
Totally agree here mate, Stoke fans are understandably frustrated with so many false dawns and midtable finishes, this translates sadly to managers being under pressure probably a lot quicker than other clubs.
@ChampionshipTerraceTalk this time next season Stoke are NOT in the playoffs spot, SS will be under pressure. He's never experienced pressure as Plymouth said to him mistakes will be forgiven. I think Stoke and the supporters will not be such a forgiven setup. Just like Lowe at Preston. The fans are already on his back.
22 games at championship level, dont see how he is qualified to manage Stoke. Yes he got Plymouth promoted but 3 teams go up every year, it stinks of Nathan jones again. Every time we set on a manager he has done nothing at that level. Should have gone for Dean Smith, least he had got promotion. Fans are more in hope than expectation, if he does not end up sending Stoke up he will end up with the rest of his career in the lower leagues.
Timing absolutely terrible for Argyle. Greed yet again over any loyalty after the board had bent over backwards to help him and his his staff within the clubs finical restraints. Everton u18 currently bottom - so Baines ? Seriously!
Yes de-ja-vu really has struck Plymouth again. But yes sadly there's little loyalty in football and if reports are true, can we begrudge anyone moving jobs to quadruple their wage? As for Baines, well, time will tell but he needs to cut his cloth for longer methinks. Lee Carsely would be a better appointment.
Stoke got a manager who wanted to raise his wages 4 or 5 times but more importantly 250 miles nearer to Liverpool. If Everton came in for him tomorrow, do you think that he'll say no.
Schumacher and his three merry men have left the Argyle in the lurch. Terrible timing without a thought on those that he has left behind. I hope the Argyle players can recover quickly and win a few games without a manager and training staff over the Christmas period. Feeling angry at the moment but will be fully supporting Argyle as usual. Come on you Greens.
Turn that anger into vocal hostility towards Wayne Rooneys blues this weekend, terrible timing like you say but no-one man is bigger than the club and Plymouth will be fine this season providing the get the next big decision right.

As the Stoke fan said, he’s quadrupled his wages!
As a neutral, its great when new managers break through. I will follow Argyle's fortunes now
Always got to feel for clubs like Plymouth when it happens though, and to happen twice must be sickening for fans.
Keep positive..move on..JANNERS💚💚💚💚
Sound advice Paul 👍
What about Steve Cooper for Argyle.
Think its a more sensible shout than Leighton Baines
@ChampionshipTerraceTalk out of our budget but never say never.

That's the spirit Clive. Although you have feel given the history Stoke have with managers, that Schueys made a mistake here.
What stoke are getting is a Snake 🥵
Ouch Cliff!

Sick of hearing our fans saying he turned down the Sunderland job: He was never offered it! 🤦🏼♂️
Thanks for correcting the record, tbh had read the same that he had been approached for a chat but didnt entertain it.
I meant to say either he didn’t want the job or they didn’t want him.
Schumacher masterclass against Rooney last night

neither are stoke! 🤣 It's a match made in heaven!

paul cook is in the running 100 percent see him yesturday
Where, nowhere near Plymouth unless he's on his hols.
Never in a million years thanks, we don't like him. Another Steve Evans.
Done well where-ever he's gone, Ipswich aside. Good manager who will be a safer pair of hands than most on the list we featured.
Not understanding this tbh @steviebgooder ? What's the fans issues with appointing Cook?

He’s had touchline run ins here at Home Park from his time at Pompey
“What Stoke want they get”…….good luck Nuno at Forest!!

good points
I can’t see us breaking the bank for an experienced manager. Up and comer more likely.
Would you take a risk with a young and upcoming like Baines or prefer a steady hand like Warnock?
@@ChampionshipTerraceTalk I wouldn’t take the risk with Baines, I would like the upcoming man to have some experience of league football.
Stoke steal another clubs manager mid season yet again. Great fans but a shot club not that far above watfud.
