Nice clean machinery. Clean work areas. Wonder where this mill is.. The workers are not Indians, from Pakistan or even Mexico..My guess is they're Swedish or Norwegian..The mill is too clean for a 3rd world country, so it's probably in the Netherlands.. The machinery is extremely clean. That's hard to do..Even in the US, we had some styles that were really messy, especially cotton or denim.. These looms appear to be computerized and probably beyond the skills of textile worker that was used to the ,79- 80 models..Sulzer had some rapier looms we.ran instead of the shuttle type. Rapiers were common on the old Mav looms we purchased from a Burlington plant that was closing..Mav looms were made in Switzerland allegedly and the parts books were in a foreign language..But they had a simple head and were like the old C and K looms in many ways. They were easily figured out without a parts book .We ran them for a couple of years and sold them to Mexico..The rapier clips were dangerous and if one broke, the rapier was like an arrow. The sharp end could hit you or even penetrate the yarn hung on the weft feeders. I've seen it happen. The Mav looms were replaced by a water jet loom. They were a mess to work on. The filling (,weft) was carried by a stream of water at high speed. The air jet was a little better. At least you didn't get soaked trying to fix the problems which were many.. These may still be used today somewhere, but there were so many problems with them, I pity the guys trying to work on them.

Heck, it's too clean for a US textile mill. We never had any type of vacuum system, only overhead blowers to keep the lint off the looms.
