As for food products that are exported by Russia, I'm not familiar with what those are and who in Europe buy them. I would say though that Russia wants payment from Countries such as India, for example, in Rubles. India doesn't trade in Rubles it uses it's Sovereign currency the Rupee and like others outside of Europe, they have introduced the barter system. The Russian economy, regardless of it being hyped up, is in a precarious position with inflation at close to 10%, and interest rates at 21%.
