Magnificent catches of the trains coming by and pass at the railroad crossing, i like it 5 stars. Thumbs up. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, I subbed your channel, Greetings from Portugal to the USA.
hello from pa, i love your video. i found it by chance. i sub'd as well of course! out my way i have 42/43 for amtrak. that charger engine on the cap ltd went farther east on 42 yesterday.
@@bigjayusmcNice catches! That kind of activity was what got everybody kicked out and the triangle shut down for railfanning circa 92-93ish. People were actually grilling out and even heard there were a few beers consumed. Pretty gutty on RR property! White Hen Pantry was a block away and had great broasted chicken. Miss those days though when I'd swing in for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon to wait for Chicago bound traffic on 94 to lighten up. Had a Ford Louisville straight truck that used to fit just right under the big tree. Perfect spot for a nap, but kept my camera working hard instead.
Awesome! You caught three at one time, that's very cool!
Thanks!
Years ago, 1950s, my wife's grandfather was the maintenance superintendent of the NY Central from Michigan City to Gary Division.
That's awesome, bet he had some great railroading stories!
Great catches
Thanks!

Thank you!
Really COOL video!! In all respects!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
HAHA Thank you!
Cool!! Is this the NS Fort Wayne Line?
NS Chicago Line..Runs east through Elkhart, Toledo, and Cleveland
Very good
Thanks!
That spur that goes right that's csx I believe?
That would be the Michigan line...at about the 2 minute mark, the line that the Pere Marquette comes in on is the CSX line
Snowy triple railgasm?
If you live within two miles of the tracks it is awful in the middle of the night! I know first hand in Porter, Indiana.
I'm pretty close to ya, yep hard to keep the windows open in summer and sleep through the night
Standing in the triangle where Porter Tower used to be has been a guaranteed fine for 25 years. Whoa.
When was the tower removed?
Heck people picnic there with multiple vehicles during nice weather these days.

It feels sad to see such a short Capitol Limited...
Agreed. Used to love riding that route with the Observation car.
All of the long hauls get shortened during the winter months. Have been like this for a LONG time

Those are the ugliest passenger cars I've ever seen.
@@hirampriggott1689So he’s a passenger car now?
Good one...I removed his comment tho.
