The president's son, 54, was accompanied by his wife, Melissa Cohen Biden, as they entered the J. Caleb Boggs Federal Building in Wilmington, Delaware, on Monday for the start of jury selection.

The timing of his drug use is the technicality that'll get him off. He could also say the book was a lie or something similar if that's there only evidence.

My understanding is in Delaware, unless you have committed a crime with the gun (actual violence, threat of violence or planning a crime), you should not receive a custodial sentence. Yes, the lying is a crime but no-one in the history of the state has gone to prison for a similar offence. If Hunter has good lawyers, he will not get locked up.
