Fourth Grade - SOUTH PARK - Reaction
Now struggling with the stress of fourth grade, the boys decide to build a time machine so they can return to their happier and carefree school days of being in third grade.

What if he did tho 😂
I jogged this morning and haven't showered! >:)

Midyck🤤
Garrison saying "You will be. You will be." is a reference to Yoda in Empire Strikes Back.
everything is an empire strikes back reference in South Park.
Ns
And they've been 4th graders for 20 years.
Just like all of us 😂
24*
@Azurethewolf168 That would completely ruin the lore
They’re trying to get their PHDs in 4th grade.
can we just appreciate the fact that timmy passed garrison's class without special treatment for his disability
one of the rare times Timmy says something other than Timmy, "Please help me!". and "You will be" was Yoda I think
7:07 Ladies and gentlemen.....the whale's mating call
The whole "can't go below x speed or get off because it will blow up" and all the chase scenes are a parody of the first speed movie lol
At least Cartman didn't crap on her desk.
@ 1820, "you will be" That is a quote from Star Wars Empire Stikes Back. Yoda said this to Luke when he was going into the cave. Good shit man
16:40 "Star Trek" and "Star Wars" are very different beasts. People like to compare them, since they're the "big two" sci-fi franchises, they're both old, have many hundreds of hours of material each, and both have "Star" in their titles. But it's very much an "apples and oranges" thing. "Star Wars" is basically high fantasy, but set in a space opera sci-fi milieu. "Star Trek" is genuine soft sci-fi, that trends towards morality plays, and exploring the human condition through a utopian futurist lens. "Star Wars" is very Zen Buddhist, "Star Trek" is very secular humanist. "Star Wars" trends towards a handful of "big" hero characters, "Star Trek" trends towards a large ensemble of characters with a "lead" in the center. ""Star Wars" is big-in-scope, and works best in movie-form, "Star Trek" is smaller-in-scope, and works best in episodic television-form. In-short, YMMV. I happen to enjoy both.
Also, God bless known "Star Trek" fan Trey Parker, here. Dude openly mocks the more-annoying elements of fandom, and does it in the most-trolling way possible. The Original Series episode debate thing is _real_ , up-to-and-including the reason for the discrepancy being because of "The Menagerie." But, the argument is between 79 and 80 episodes, not 72 and 73. There is no way that Trey Parker didn't know that, dork that he is, and he absolutely did that on-purpose, knowing that the very people he was mocking would have a breakdown every time they heard the wrong numbers. *Chef's kiss* Brilliant. XD
Star Wars and Dune are very Space Opera - Esque. Star Trek just doesn't work like that. Even Wolfram 359 and stuff like that seems more grounded. Actually when I think about it more the more Dystopian it seems because DS9 seems like something THAT COULD HAPPEN MAYBE. Star Trek future is almost like Alternate "Future" History. Star Wars and Dune are total fantasy worlds. With literal Wizards that are never fully explained. Though some episodes of Star Trek with 4th dimensional beings... the Q... are kinda like that.
I’m a casual Star Wars fan. But I want to get into Star Trek. Where would you recommend a new fan start? I really want to get into the borg stuff
@@ExecutiveChefLance Yeah, lots of magical science and technology in "Star Trek," even if it is much more grounded than most sci-fi, that's why it's "soft" and not "hard" sci-fi. Hence the infamous "technobabble." I love that a physicist pointed out to the TNG producers that the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle probably makes site-to-site teleportation impossible, so, they added "Heisenberg Compensators" to the technical manual specs of the transporter systems. How does that bit of tech work? *arm shrug* XD
@@ChakasCave Hoo-boy... There's a LOT. I would maybe start with a "best of" list of TOS and TNG? That's the grounding of the franchise right there. From there, you can branch out. If the older shows turn you off, "Strange New Worlds" is the closest to the tone and overall vibe of "Star Trek" amongst the new shows (and Anson Mount's Captain Pike is one of the best examples of good leadership and genuinely healthy masculinity that I can think of in recent fiction). As for the Borg.... They've appeared 53 times across seven of the TV series and in one of the movies. The "core" of them, though, that everybody thinks of, are these appearances:
TNG: "Q Who?"
TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part I"
TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II"
TNG: "I, Borg"
Movie: "First Contact"
VOY: "Scorpion, Part I"
VOY: "Scorpion, Part II"
That should suffice. If you're still interested afterwards, I'd recommend consulting the Star Trek wiki, Memory Alpha (memory dash alpha dot org), since it lists every appearance of every element of the franchise.
the "You Will Be" is a Star Wars Reference, specifically Yoda says it to Luke before Luke goes into the cave on Degobah (or however it's spelled) in Episode 5 Empire Strikes Back.
All time machines including wheel chairs must reach the speed of 88 miles per hour in order to achieve time travel. Dr. Emmett Brown “Back To The Future”
Mixing the Star Wars references with the Star Trek Nerds is inspired.
I'm suddenly interested in what Anatoli was like in fourth grade.
I swear these have become my comfort videos. Love this dude!
I love your reactions, but this is why I wish reactors to this show went in order, the reveal of their new teacher is so wild and a great moment if you haven't heard of or seen her before.
Man, imagine these guys arguing over the number of episodes of _Futurama_ - I’d be an effing riot.
I can't believe it took me almost 15 years to realize every time they interact with the nerds they flip who thinks there was 73 episodes.
Technically it was Mr. Hat who tried to do that not Mr. Garrison
I absolutely love it when you laugh out loud, Toli. It makes me smile every time.
The Garrison approach is surprisingly effective. I have a friend who used to just pull a Garrison and get extremely gay whenever he'd get angry messages after online Madden or Call of Duty games. Made them shut up every single time lmao
You've got to watch "Good Times With Weapons" it's my favorite episode. It's like watching a South Park anime
Ok, I'm no Trekkie, but please don't put Gene Roddenberry on the same level as George Lucas. George Lucas made a space fantasy franchise and ruined it in the prequels by trying to give hard sci-fi explanations for the force, which was previously basically just magic. Gene Roddenberry was a competent sci-fi screenwriter.
Also, in terms of science fiction, Star Trek is technically better because it actually fits the genre. Plus it's pretty entertaining sometimes to watch Shatner hamming it up in the original series. And y'know, I grew up watching Reading Rainbow and LeVar Burton was in The Next Generation.
Besides, there are 79 episodes of the original Star Trek as long as you count two-parters as two separate episodes.
Star Wars is mostly Fantasy. It is better to compare Dune and Star Wars. They both have that Space Opera Fantasy Feel. Though I'd argue the Dune Books do actually explain most things(kind of Genetic Memory..I mean it is Logical in a way). Whilst Jedi are what? Midichlorians...yeah okay. Still though Lucas does do an epic job of creating the Jedi. Not easy to create something which feels as Epic as the New Dune movies or Star Wars. Star Trek definitely Blew My Mind through crazy plot far more though. The Visitor DS9. I put that up there maybe top 5 of all Sci Stories I've ever encountered holy crap that episode is amazing.
But star trek is trash even star wars episodes 7 - 9 shit all over star trek
Gratz on 6k!
Tol man I see you seeing live comedy like it’s always in sunny Philadelphia even though I’m born and raised in Denver 😂 like the top, top😂
The intro for them getting into the 4th grade is still my favorite out of all the intros. C:
Agreed
CHARADE YOU ARE, VLADIMIR!
It was always funny they made a reference to the movie “Speed” where Timmy is the bus that will explode if he stops. Too bad Sandra Bullock turned into such a screwup.
Good stuff Toli, hope you’re doing well. Question, if I might: do you review the episodes in any particular order?
hey i have falling glasses thank you.
Google tells me there is 79 episodes of the original Star Trek.
An good startrek first is star Trek first contact and enterprise NX-01 made me an fan
11:50 i get it
that's the joke you would make if you heard this line, it hardlined you in the kidney
Star Trek and Star Wars are both major parts of the American zeitgeist. There were five Star Trek spinoffs, lasting decades. Star Trek tends to be more intellectual, with a much more diverse universe. Star Trek fans are called Trekkies. Star Trek: Voyager is one of my favorite TV shows.
Diverse in what way?
@@davidprice5678 As in, they have more worlds to explore, more types of alien cultures they come across, more variety in general… it really annoys me how “diversity” has basically become synonymous with “more blax” nowadays.
Reference to The speed movie
I like saggy boobs, as long as they're not too flat or narrow. Huge and saggy is good.
"You will be." - yoda.
Star wars and star trek are both good. I don't think one is better than the other. They're both good.
Star Wars has bigger budget, better scenery and a simple childish story.
Star Trek Original has weaker visuals and adult ideas and moral dilemmas explored in a comically old-fashioned and straightforward way.
Star trek is trash compared to star wars the worst star wars material shits all over the "best" star trek content . It's not even close
@@mynamejeffgaming Whatever you think the worst Star Wars content is, it is for sure worse than the best Star Trek content.
Both franchises have a lot of follow-ups that cover different genres, and it's really their usual qualities are what should be compared, not their best or worst outputs.
I was talking about the original 1970s Star Wars vs the original 1960s Star Trek in my comment and the point still stands.
Have you never seen the movie Speed? The wheelchair thing is a Speed parody, you should watch it.
I thought i was the only one who did the fruit bowl technique 😮
A lot of Empire Strikes Back references😁
Rad video of you to make it's very funny thanks for making it and like what's the lady teacher's name
i'm still waiting for The Return of the king 🌋
Star wars is miles better than star trek , star trek is truly the b tech star wars
would you say that she has "kneePLES"?
Yes. Star Trek is that big of a deal to Trekkies. You have no idea lol.
Honestly, I'd love to see you review, futurama.
"Star Trek has gotta be the best thing George Lucas ever did!"
Fffffffuuuuuuuuu...🤬🤬🤬
My fav is Star Trek revenge of the sith
Love you and your SP reactions always 🤗🥰❤️
Yeah, you are right: that unnecessary nostalgia that turns everything into cool… like Soviet Union. Stop thinking communism is great! I Can remember talking about this episode when I was a young kid. Damn! I’m mummy. .
Has Choksondik turned you gay yet? lol
Cash for Gold, S16.E2
Present them 😳
PLEASE TOLI I NEED YOU TO WATCH "CREME FRAICHE" EPISODE.
if you like the idea of cowboys in space, as I do, you will love Star Trek OG.
And Firefly / Serenity.
And once your done with the trash kiddie show the original series of star wars has an actual bad ass space bandit/smuggler.
1:50 You can definitely tell the writers grew up at a time before Microsoft Word became commonplace.
15:24 Rabbi*
Mr Garrison wasn't gay until he convinced himself he wanted to be gay.
Am i the only one who thinks Miss. Chocksondik is kinda…
cute?❤😅
Yup
She kinda looks like Sharon McGee if she were white.
Yes🤢
4:00
romanticizing the past
"no matter how hot she is, some guy out there is sick of her shit" that guy is you
time tries to heal your hurt by disregarding the bad times, but fuck that, I remember what happened.
fuck no star trek is not even close to being better than star wars
If you subtract Disney Star Wars. Disney Star Wars is so bad that the worst episode of Voyager is like Shakespeare in comparison. I tried to rewatch the Last Two. Couldn't even watch minutes of that crap. It is so s**t. If you don't like Sci-Fi of course you don't like Star Trek.
@@ExecutiveChefLance I don't consider anything Disney does as canon and actually have went out of my way to avoid watching the last 2. That being said, star trek isn't really in much of a better place, Main point of my comment basically is star wars is way cooler than star trek
@@majora919 💯 people only like star trek because they watched it as Kids and can't tell how trash it really is
Yeaaah, another reaction ❤️❤️❤️
If you don’t believe in the “fruit bowl” you should check out Steve-O from Jackass… it’s a trick he’s performed a number of times.
