Great Reels your bringing back memories of when I was in the Army 1977 in Germany. Buying all the best equipment and music and just jamming and cooling out when off duty!!
I have another video coming out in about five minutes and I think you will like it. Subscribe to the channel and it will let you know when it’s posted.
Mine is the RX-202 I like the way the tape flips to play the other side.😁But I have a problem with it. When I put in a tape that I recorded on it will go straight into the record mode. Store-bought pre-recorded tapes are fine.
Thank You. It took awhile to acquire them. I’m missing a few from the listening room right now. They are being repaired but they will eventually be back home. As it stands right now I only have room for 10 reel to reels. I wish that my Listening Room was bigger.😊😊
I'm glad you like it. Please take a look at some of my recent videos. I think that you will enjoy them. I've added more reel to reel and replaced some things. This video was made over a year ago. 🙂
I would not have the Pioneer Blue Light gear if it wasn’t for Bigg Matt. The first time I went to his house to drop off a Teac reel to reel for repair I saw his pioneer system and said right then and there I was going to get one. I love the blue VU meters.😊
It is a great reel-to-reel but if you are not getting it off fleabay or Reverb where you can get your money back if it's not running properly then I would proceed with caution. I always went to get mine out so that I could check the condition of the machine and definitely check the heads out. But this is anytime you buy a reel-to-reel. if it has not been serviced by a competent tech, then it will definitely need to go to one first so consider that in the price you are paying (1-3 hundred dollars ). Also beware of the scammers because these days there are a lot of them out there. if you don’t have a tech close, then check with Bigg Matt. He is the one that I always talk about on my channel. All of my equipment goes to him. You can email him at reel2reelguy@gmail.com or call him at 980 553-4970 and leave a message about the pioneer. If he can't answer he will definitely call you back. I hope all of this answers your question. The bottom line is that if they are not wanting an arm and two legs for it and has been verified to be running then I would definitely buy it. You will love the machine. But like I said earlier, if you are not buying it from a online site where you can get your money back if it is not running like it is supposed to be, then I would proceed with caution, and if possible, pick it up so that you could check it out. Again make sure you check the condition of the heads.
Beutiful hobby, friend!
Thank You 😀 I am really enjoying the journey.
Шикарная коллекция!👍

Awesome room! It gives me a lot of joy to see it. The RT-909 is just beautiful. Thank you for making my day. Take care and keep the reels moving.
Thank You
I love all these r2r's working at different speeds.
I'm into cassette tapes. I have 7 cassette players, Yamaha, Technics, Akai, Luxman, and Nakamichi. Love your system and listening room.
Thank You😀 Is your Nakamichi the Dragon?
@Topdog1954 oh no, I'm not that lucky. It's a 581.

@Topdog1954 That is an odd problem. Remove the tabs from the recorded tapes see if that fixes it.
