Great Video! There IS one other coaster flying under the Radar.. a Coaster Cedar Point DESPERATELY NEEDS Is a GCI Wooden coaster. This would give Cedar Point the Modern Wooden coaster that Cedar Point really needs. Plus it would fit that area perfectly. PLUS placing a cut through from the Gemini Midway to Maverick to better funnel guest paths would do wonders and help with overcrowding as well 😊
Generally I agree that Kings Island will get a new coaster in 2026, and typically CP would wait until at least 2027 to not overshadow. However, one small thing to not discount is that since the merger they have re-leaned into the branding of CP being the "coaster capital" of the world and I believe with TT2 and Siren's Curse they would be 1 coaster short of the coaster record again. I think they really want that and may act out of the norm to achieve it sooner rather than later.
T-Rex is asking for problems. A prototype with record-breaking height and likely record speed will have record-breaking downtime. I hope they learned _something_ from Top Thrill Dragster/2.
The buildings in front of skyhawk and next to snake river will go too. The museum hasn't been open and the pizza/food/drinks behind it weren't open this year at least when I was there. That would free up more space. My $$ is on a GCI woodie either here or up by the boardwalk when they move or remove kiddie kingdom and the food and games near gatekeeper. Then they relocate maxair
What if? If T-Rex is built it will experience problems of historical proportions, likely leading to it's downfall. More height, more speed, more problems.
My preference would be the flying coaster on this plot of land. However, many enthusiasts rave about the Mack Extreme Spinner. Cedar Point loves to be at the top of everyone’s coaster list and they love to break records. I think that they will go for a record-breaking Mack Extreme Spinner.

But regarding a new coaster, I'd be so happy if someone kicks B&M in the behind to beef up their Hyper Coaster. Get some stronger airtime in it, inversions, cooler twists (non-inverting loops) etc. Maybe a 5*10 train for the larger ones to increase capacity. Or even drop the floor and use restrain styles like the modern Mack coasters. They basically have it already on their modern inverted. They just need to ditch the vest and keep the rest. Or do a piston - which I'm suggesting for 20 years now...

As a passholder, Cedar Point has some real issues right now; lack of shade, lack of water fountains, lack of quick-service food, lack of family rides, a terrible app, artificially creating queue issues so they can sell more fast passes. "All coasters all the time" is only going to go so far for a park in the middle of nowhere. After 2025 we'll probably look elsewhere for season passes.

@@DJDRobCols so the “family coasters” that everyone says Cedar Point Should take out. You have to 48ins to ride that or around 7-8 years old any younger than that and you have a spinner ride or kiddie coasters. If you have a younger family you can’t do anything at Cedar Point if you want to ride rollers coasters. Also both rides you mentioned are over 30 years old. If anything Cedar Point needs a modern Family coaster if you guys want a woodie so bad you can get a Gravity Group Shuttle family coaster. Cedar Point is stacked with thrill rides and people keep saying to remove the family rides for more thrill rides. How-about instead just build more family rides so it’s not just thrill seekers with something to do
Cedar Point needs to reclaim the tallest coaster. Go 1000 ft to make sure nobody can ever afford to build any larger. Make the coaster go arround the park weaving in and out of other coasters.
Record-breaking height & speed and new elements & technology is asking for problems. Ever since American Eagle appeared on the cover of Coaster World with the words "Mega Coaster Rises," breaking records has caused _mostly_ a host of issues. Cedar Point could use a wood coaster, a medium size Gravity Group preferred along the lines of Ravine Flyer II, Boardwalk Bullet or Voyage. GCI is my second choice. I've ridden them all & GCIs feel too similar, though I _do_ love Thunderhead, Gold Striker & Mystic Timbers.
I live in Cbus, goin to CP and KI since 12 years old. 55 now, lol. I believe height is King ! But the height King will be at Cedar Point..... 400 plus 1st hill
They really don’t need a coaster that has a launch or inversion. They need something without inversions this time and I don’t see them getting anything till 2028 or 2029 cause Ithey got so many parks now to give coasters too.
I wouldn't say 0% I mean look what they're doing they're going to add three coasters in 3 years. They knew they were getting six flags. I think they're clearing this land and they're going to add a roller coaster like Big Bear mountain at Dollywood it's going to take up a big footprint but it's going to be a very nice family coaster. You would say not a major add on but that coaster is extremely expensive. And I can guarantee you that six flags magic mountain isn't going to get another roller coaster capital of the world title back to cedar point they're going after the most coasters in one Park record again. So don't be surprised if including the 2028 season at cedar point not only gets the coaster next year but they get two more. Two major additions in sirens curse and whatever they're doing around the Snake River falls area and don't put it past them to add a small little kitty coaster to take back the record. But a add-on like Big Bear mountain would be a major financial add-on we're talking more money than steel vengeance more money than top thrill and probably more money than the last big ground up coaster which was valravn. Yeah it might not please you because it's a family coaster but those things cost a lot of money.
@@DJDRobCols Three years between a major ride is not that long. The average time between new rides at cedar point, including the kiddie rides, has been 3.3 years. It would be even longer excluding said rides.
Awesome analysis as always. Cedar Point loves its records. With SF Qiddya getting a record-breaking 600 foot exa, I can see Cedar Point going for a B & M 500-foot Penta coaster. This would give Ceder Point two records off the bat 1) First Penta Coaster (SF Qiddya being the 1st exa coaster) 2) First Park ever with a Mega, Hyper, Giga, Strata and Penta. Either way, especially with Saudi Arabia's Human Right's record, I feel as this will eat them Golden Ticket Awards up.
I think they're clearing this land to add on a family coaster like in the style of Big Bear mountain at Dollywood. And those things aren't cheap this is going to be a major edition. Sure the adrenaline junkies are not going to like it but this is going to be a major addition with probably a lot of theming. And now that cedar Fair purchased six flags which they kept the name six flags it is obvious that six flags is now the flagship of all parks combined. Why else would they add three coasters in 3 years and they're probably going to add another one in 2026 they wouldn't be cleaning land out already. This park is going to get four roller coasters in 4 years. Do not put it past them to add five in five years. They may take one year off but by the 2028 season cedar point is going to have the most coasters in one park in the world. Sure they can't build record breakers like some of these Saudi Arabians are but they have the funds to build the most in one Park. And that will be a big draw once again. An arguably with sirens curse there's no park in the world with top throw up and running that has a better top five lineup it's not even close. Yes Brandon I agree a flying coaster would be ideal but I think that they are lacking a very modern long family style coaster and that's what they're clearing for. If they don't add another roller coaster beyond this clearing project I can see them redoing Gemini and going after another record because they only need to add like 35 or 40 ft to that racing coaster and it would be the world's tallest racing coaster. They love going after records and Gemini could be a very cheap record-breaker. Fortunately when they built Gemini it was the tallest roller coaster in the world. The ridership of Gemini has been decreasing over the years and instead of completely removing it I think a redo by RMC but not go crazy with it and just add a little bit of height to make it a record breaker and they will have another hit!!!. And if they slightly change the layout from the left side to the right side so they're not identical you can count them as two credits that's how they're going to go after the most coasters in one Park they're going to modify Gemini that is the cheapest option to add another roller coaster and make it a record-breaker
You're not considering any strategies CP would take in developing the island, Brandon. This is just 10 minutes of drooling over the biggest thrill coaster they could build. There's no actual thought here. Remember that the island has leftover infrastructure from Forbidden Frontier, and CP will likely want to repurpose that in an expanded family area. Particularly by rebuilding the bridge to Camp Snoopy. On the west side, as others have speculated, we could see a bridge that directly connects the island with CCMR. Closing Snake River Falls allows for a new path that connects the Barnyard petting zoo with CCMR snd this bridge. That's fantastic for guest flow - no need to wait for the train to cross at-grade where Frontier Fling was. Linking all of these plots creates a huge family area in the heart of the park, and I expect CP will develop it accordingly. That means NO flyer, XSC, or Stryker on the open plots. A Mack Splash Battle would be a solid replacement for SRF, with its entrance off the new shortcut path to CCMR. The former Shoot the Rapids area is ideal for a Vekoma launched family coaster - like Big Bear Mountain with more of a twister layout. The east side of the island could even fit a Dragonflier clone to functionally replace Iron Dragon. And when CCMR is finally retired, that's where CP would add a new family-thrill woodie. If CP adds a Vekoma flyer, it'll replace Rougarou and Iron Dragon. A Stryker or XSC could replace Gemini. But the island is for families, not insane thrills.

I used to want Corkscrew gone. But, it’s such a classic, I want them to keep it. Just fix the head banging.
@@CCA_that’s what Iron Dragin and Blue Streak are for.
How-about instead just build more family rides so it’s not just thrill seekers with something to do
So if we're talking 2027....why take down Snake River Falls now?
For the 2026 water coaster
They're getting a tilt coaster next year. They can easily do a couple of years till 2028-2029 without a new coaster
Send CP a B&M Surf coaster and save the Mack Stryker coaster for Kings Island
Cedar Point needs to reclaim the tallest coaster. Go 1000 ft to make sure nobody can ever afford to build any larger. Make the coaster go arround the park weaving in and out of other coasters.
I think it will be the giga coaster from B&M and it will be record-breaking. I hope Hershey gets it before they do
I will miss the skycoaster they have skycoasters are my favorite
Record-breaking height & speed and new elements & technology is asking for problems. Ever since American Eagle appeared on the cover of Coaster World with the words "Mega Coaster Rises," breaking records has caused _mostly_ a host of issues. Cedar Point could use a wood coaster, a medium size Gravity Group preferred along the lines of Ravine Flyer II, Boardwalk Bullet or Voyage. GCI is my second choice. I've ridden them all & GCIs feel too similar, though I _do_ love Thunderhead, Gold Striker & Mystic Timbers.
I’m sorry I say take out mine ride and bring in a GCI woody
Mack Stryker Please!
GCI woodie! Something just as good if not better than Mystic Timbers
Yes plz 🙏 💯💯
I live in Cbus, goin to CP and KI since 12 years old. 55 now, lol. I believe height is King ! But the height King will be at Cedar Point..... 400 plus 1st hill
There's no way there's another channel name change haha
Custom B&M Launched Surf Coaster with 5 inversions? 🤔
Wooden. Coaster.
Exactly
I wonder if Snake River Falls is being dismantled yet. If it is I think whatever is going there will be for 2026
Can kings island at least get 2 new coasters first???
1000 ft coaster called Screw Kadia 🤣
I say a GCI/GG woodie on that land
They really don’t need a coaster that has a launch or inversion. They need something without inversions this time and I don’t see them getting anything till 2028 or 2029 cause Ithey got so many parks now to give coasters too.
Cedar Point needs something different, provides a unique ride experience and most importantly, something that actually works and is reliable.🙄
GCI???
A gci would be great
💯 agree
Given what they've built recently; there is a zero percent chance CP gets a new major coaster before '28.
If it takes that long it will definitely be a GCI woodie.
@@DJDRobCols Three years between a major ride is not that long. The average time between new rides at cedar point, including the kiddie rides, has been 3.3 years. It would be even longer excluding said rides.
I'd love to see a monster wooden. Like put El Toro too shame.
Yesssss agree. Wooden coaster with a loop ➰
At least no permits for Kingda Ka
Top thrill 3
Awesome analysis as always.
Cedar Point loves its records. With SF Qiddya getting a record-breaking 600 foot exa, I can see Cedar Point going for a B & M 500-foot Penta coaster.
This would give Ceder Point two records off the bat
1) First Penta Coaster (SF Qiddya being the 1st exa coaster)
2) First Park ever with a Mega, Hyper, Giga, Strata and Penta.
Either way, especially with Saudi Arabia's Human Right's record, I feel as this will eat them Golden Ticket Awards up.
Dualing inverting GCI’s!
It's allegedly going to be a 4D coaster.
They need a large wooden coaster
Dude they just added a coaster that wasn’t even supposed to be for them. Enough of the glazing of this park lmaoaoaoao
GCI wooden dueling racing coaster in replace of Gemini
Tearing down tt2 will be smarter
I wonder if they plan on removing the raft ride in the next few years.
Well a least you got to keep tt2 God knows what we get for ka
Tell me you have A.D.D. and commitment issues without telling me you have A.D.D. and commitment issues..... I'm going to start a betting pool on what the next name of this channel is going to be 6 months from now. 😂
😝
T REX!!
CP is in desperate need of a cardboard coaster, it would be the first of its kind
Has this channel rebranded again? That's what, three rebranding this year alone?? Theme Park Predictions, Theme Park Recommendations, and now Theme Park Brandon. Weird.
i am done being weird now :) Theme Park Brandon is final :) thank you
That area is literally smaller than the area that MF takes up...
Great video, but Siren’s Curse looks to be a joke, just like TT2. Save your money and go to Kings Island, much better park.!
Ibh, after the letdown with #Orion, NY excitement for new coasters went 👎
WOODEN GCI COASTER WITH A LOOP!!!!!!!
I have a card I wanna play...hint what Canada's wonderland is doing next year....what say you brandon
Alpen Fury :)
@KeepRidinCoasters I would not mind a primier coaster at America's roller coast...we need something to build people up to maverick. A family launch coaster is something the park doesn't have, I say that's in play here
Get rid of magnum first because it’s a god awful ride and it can fit a good size coaster
Don't you dare. How dare you😢 mid-90s it was the best coaster in the park.
😂 Then I rode it it again this fall. Thought for sure my thighs were going to get bruised if not broken.
@ exactly it’s too rough to enjoy
@@mouse122809 This is a keeper for sure
