I'm cooking 2 legs this Easter. I wet it down with olive oil and coat in salt pepper, fresh garlic and rosemary. Cook at around 275 to 300 on the smoker till med/med rare. The smoke gets rid of a lot of the gamieness.. Serve with tzatziki sauce
This recipe sounds amazing! I was considering cooking till medium rare, but wanted it to really resemble low and slow Q. Next time I will definitely be following your recipe and making the tzatziki!
Great video - was looking forward to this one - going to inject my lamb shoulder and throw it on my direct heat cooker on Sunday - hopefully it turns out as good as the leg you did - 🍺
Much appreciated Ted! Always appreciate you watching! I’m excited to see and hear how your leg comes out. Direct heat will add some great flavor to the lamb. Let me know how it goes!
Hey Harry greetings from England my friend, happy Easter to you and yours. So that lamb looks damn delicious. We eat a lot of lamb here on the other side of the pond. And it’s definitely delicious done on the smoker. I’ve done several with different flavour profiles. As you cooked at so low and slow you could have spiked it with whole garlic cloves maybe 15 or 20. Literally just poke a hole with a sharp knife and pop those little cloves in and watch them melt away and go all caramelised as it cooks. That’s one of my favourite things to do with lamb and omg it’s good. Anyway H great content and look forward to the next one. Drew
Much appreciated Drew! Love the feedback and I’m definitely going to have to try that technique the next time I cook lamb. Sounds like a great idea. The garlic flavor came through with the butter baste, but I like the idea of inserting the cloves. Happy Easter to you and yours!
Happy Easter Mr. The Horse! Man that lamb looked good. I’ve only had lamb once and wasn’t a fan. Just a grocery store lamb chop and I probably didn’t cook it correctly. I definitely would give that slow cooked leg a go though!
Happy Easter Mr. Silver Fox! I appreciate you watching! I think the grocery store lamb can be a turn off for sure. Very little to no gaminess in this lamb. Definitely try out a lamb leg one of these days!
Awesome!
Appreciate you!
Good job Horse! Ray Tay would of loved that! You’re so thoughtful!😘😘
Thank you! Wish he could have some
Great video and idea! Thinking outside the box great job 👊🏽
I appreciate you watching! Just wanted to do something new for the channel but somewhat traditional for the holiday

I need to try this! Pastrami brisket going on the smoker tommorow for Sunday!
Oh man, pastrami for Easter sounds like it would hit the spot right now! Good luck with your cook and let me know how it goes!
Nice cook bro! This is actually on my to do list very soon! Possibly even tomorrow! Very nice!
Thank you Trumpetmaster! It was on my to do list too and I’m so glad I did it. Let me know how yours comes out if you decide to cook it!
