@@C-A-S-T-I Thanks for the reply. I did some digging and realize you guys released a Turkish version in response to Haggard. I do agree this version is better. What happened to the other woman who sang in this version? Was she not available to sing the Turkish version? You also lost your bagpipe/recorder player from this version. Where did he go? And you guys are in South America right? Brazil? I forget. I know I looked it up in the past when I first discovered you.

im 90% swedish and 10% italian so this was intresting. its a very creepy song. either its a bout a christian knight refusing to marrying a pagan, no matter how much he is bribed - OR its satans forces trying to make him sell his soul for riches and impressive earthly things. might even but a cursed woman who made a deal with the devil, very much like beauty and the beast, and can only get rid of her "troll" appearance unless she find herself a love- but cant come up with any other ways than to bribe him with gifts- and no "christian knight" will that ever work on.
song is probably as old as medieval time, but was written down on paper in the 1800 when Sweden wanted to document these kind of stories and songs from the rural community.
