These videos you're making are actually amazing! You go a few levels deeper and explain things on a fundamental level. Not just the "what" but the "why" behind things. And this vid is super timely- I was doing my first CZ a few days ago and it was first time I really saw these different effects.
It's very informative video, but I find very distracting how you switching windows, just... switch them via alt+tab and let them maximized :-D But finally somebody explained me all the icons :-) Thank you!
Could you explain something to me? There are some experimental weapon modifications that seem like they are doing the same thing under different names; judging by their descriptions, though, they deviate. e.g. thermal shock (lasers/MCs) and thermal cascade (cannons/missiles); other than a difference in working against julls or not -- do they feed into the very same status effect? And more importantly: do they stack [or not] with "the other" if not with "themselves"? Similarly, concordamt sequence and regeneratio sequence has me scratchimg my head; why both? - which one's better? - and would it add anything to a build to have both, if they don't apparently, go by the same formula (wether such a stacking of effects was by design or by mistake...) On a somewhat unrelated note: I can never quite stop shaking my head about effects like "thermal vent" and "thermal shock" (and also "thermal conduits") being alternative & mutually exclusive for the same weapon, as if giving off heat and giving off heat were fundamentally different physical phenomena... FDev-logic(tm)! (Btw... whas it really necessary, to erase my other comment, underneath one of your ship build vids?)
