More from what's been called "The best Bach organ in America". Not only great sounding, but great looking too. (Thanks to highly skilled cabinet makers). From Chicago, U.S.A.
My Orchestra arrangement of this piece: Woodwinds: 3 Oboes Brass: 2 Natural Trumpets in D Percussion: 2 Timpani in A and E Strings: Violins 1 and 2 Violas Continuo (Cellos, Basses and Harpsichord)
I've only heard this prelude performed in a somber and quiet register by Simon Preston, so it really is interesting to hear in another more rambunctious style. Loved it, beautiful organ and amazing performance!
For yet another way of performing BWV 536 check out the performance by Marko Sever on the Beauty in Sound channel. He goes for dignity and grandeur. All three approaches are equally valid and it's fascinating to hear the same piece sounding so different.
Dear Mr. Karosi, Many of us admire what you do, your musicality, your registration skills, your interpretations, and the quality of your videos. On this subject, could you one day, in another video, describe your equipment for the video, for the sound recording, and for the making of the videos? Thank you in advance.
Hi Balint, my name is Melissa Ware and I am wondering what it is called when you are playing one key board that is making the other key board play in synchronicity? Does it have a specific name?
Hi Melissa, I think you mean when I couple the two manuals? It is called the coupler. On this organ you can see the other manual’s keys depressed at the same time as the one I am playing. That is a manual coupler. There is also a pedal coupler when I play the manuals from the pedal board. You may add me on Whatssup or Messenger if you have more questions 😊
Bravo!
I would have liked more legato in the fugue - it is quite vocal and there is lots of stepwise movement. If the prelude is played a bit slower, it balances the fugue more.
Dear Mr Karosi, great rendition. Could you describe how do you manage with playing high notes on the pedalboard extending only to d? Did you play final passage partially on manual?
Einfach wunderbar... voller Dynamik und Geheimnis... herzlichen Dank Ihnen Herr Karosi

Magnifique interprétation. L'orgue est très coloré et lumineux.
Love how you color coordinated your trousers with the organ case trim paint! Nice organ playing, too! 😊
beautiful playing. i have played the same piece at the beginning of the mass at 9pm at the franciscan church in Ljubljana, Slovenia, EU
I had the enormous privilege of hearing this piece for the first time I can remember. Great performance, this is now in my playlist
Wow a modern organ! The voicings are so crisp.
Bravó, Karosi úr! Ez igazán izgalomba hozta a lelkemet, ahogy Bach minden zenének szánta. Köszönöm a remek előadást.
It's BWV 536 in case anyone is wondering.
Quina agilitat amb els baixos.
Bravo❤

You have a beautifully gentle posture at the organ...

KÖSZÖNÖM SZÉPEN!
Toujours impeccable! Merci!
Wonderful
Nice principal selection and pedal work.

Love this organ!
Good old Balint plays again 👍👌
szép!
Beautiful playing! You sound amazing . Also very smartly dressed
Always impressed me they play not only with they’re fingers but also there feet!
I bet they also know how to use periods and commas and when to use _they're,_ _there_ and _their._ Amazing world we live in.
And for those of an international pedant nature, a period is what the younger fairer sex go through roughly once a month.
The organ seems to be tuned a halftone higher, so the piece sounds in b-flat major.
Bravo yet again, Bálint!!!!!!!
I'm going to an organ concert tomorrow where the organist is performing one of your compositions as part of their repertoire!
I wonder which one! Please let me know
@@bkarosi I didn't know that you are also a composer....Where can I find info?

Meraviglioso
JS bach is the best.

Esecuzione pulita comunque
Great

I don't agree with the choice of the ornamentation, expecially at the beginning of the fugue, in the theme of the fugue
Sorry, for me this is not the way to play this "christmas pastorale"..
Bravo ! It's 440 hz ?
A = 477 Hz
