rev 12.0 has been released for ESCape32 with new features but also some changes to how settings are done. Commands 43/44 have been combined into one (43) for simplified use. This is the duty_rate, and it now "rolls over" like some of the other commands such as motor timing (40) and PWM (41). NOTE: duty_rate should be maxed out at 100 for 5in. drones. If you have larger aircraft, something running 12S and the like, it is recommended to start at default duty_rate or even lower depending on your set up. TY very much for the video ! I gonna flash an AM32 to Escape32 in a couple of werks. Also i now have all the parts to build 2x 1:1 racing drones to compare AM32 with ESCape32 under the exact same conditions. But I gonna compare them in 3D mode freestyle not racing....
yes, but you need to unlock the BL32. In the past, this was quite tedious but has become much easier recently. Search for a tool called "am32 unlocker" on github and follow those instructions to flash a custom bootloader file which you can load with an escape32 bootloader.
Yes, and it is easier than ever using the "am32 unlocker" tool. Follow the instructions found on this github but choose a custom bootloader and load the escape32 bootloader github.com/am32-firmware/AM32-unlocker
What's wrong with having different options to choose from? Competition is always a good thing, both for the development of the project and for the user.

Man of culture, Hobbywing is the goat along with rushfpv
Has anyone tried this on the rhino 80a
What's the main selling point other than low throttle spin?
Updating my BL 32.7 ESC gave me much smoother RPM telemetry data.
I still haven't managed to get my HW G1 to work stably...
Is it possible also to migrate from blheli32 to escap32?
yes, but you need to unlock the BL32. In the past, this was quite tedious but has become much easier recently. Search for a tool called "am32 unlocker" on github and follow those instructions to flash a custom bootloader file which you can load with an escape32 bootloader.

Whats now escape32 again? Is am32 not good enough?
