Where do you guys think byu lands in the initial playoff ranking . I think they will actually be better than the AP poll because of their resume. If SMU defeats Pitt this week and tensions undefeated I think byu will come in at 7.
The Committee usually changes things up from how the polls have it, but it's hard to say if that'll be good or bad for BYU. I really can see them moving up. Either way we'll learn a lot.
I was meeting an informant afterwards. Hey, when Jake Hatch says he'll join your show, you do whatever you can to make it happen, even if it meets doing the show from your car while your kids are at practice.
I think we are giving that fake FG too much love. It’s on tape now. We can’t run it again when we need it, and it had 0 effect in the game. If we don’t run it, we kick and get 3 points. We do run it and…4 plays later get 3 points. It wasn’t even at a point in the game where we NEEDED to run it and get a TD. Completely pointless, even though it was cool.
I really like this take. Great point. Perhaps this will get teams to prep for this play leaving themselves susceptible to a different one we have up our sleeves?
@saturdayswarriorbyu problem is Kilani doesn't like to run the score up because it's not "nice" and he doesn't want to make enemies and embarrass coaches. My feeling is he wont run the score up too much as he likes the Ute coach. I hope he runs it up 45 points. But hoping and reality are two different things.
I hope so. Sitake won't want to embarrass his friend though. I could see our offense struggling at times, but with the improved run game, we should be fine. And our defense should feast.
I love the play calling early in the games. I do believe we get conservative too early. I appreciate that our coaches, especially Kalani, tries to not "run up the score". BUT, in today's CFB environment, we need to keep on the gas. I think when we play late at night, many voters may not see the games, only the final score. That doesn't give them a true picture of the "specialness" of this team.

💯. You have to protect players too. But style points never hurt. That's partly why that pick 6 at the end of the Arizona game was so awesome. Otherwise, we'd have taken a knee.
What does BYU need to continue to improve if they want to beat Utah and go 12-0?
We gotta get this channel more views! I love their breakdowns and discussion!
Thank you! We really enjoy doing it.
Ropati and Martin running the ball 10-15 times each is a recipe for success.
You gotta love it when the run game is going. Makes it easier for BYU to control the game.
It was ethan erickson on the route
Good call.
Is Trevor in outer darkness?
😄 I should've explained. When Jake Hatch agrees to come on, you work around his schedule.

What happened to the runningback Mao? He was a tank for that one game.
I'm guessing they're saving him. I think he still hasn't burned his red shirt, so I don't think we'll see him unless there's another injury.

True. Jake's day job is producing a pro ute show...ksls sports talk shows are all so pro Utah i don't even listen to them...
I know they covered the Utes, but I didn't realize it was that slanted. Kinda funny.

BYU beats Utah by 10 points MINIMUM
I hope it's by many, many more.

True but I hope he does. Feels like no lead is safe in the Holy War.
@@saturdayswarriorbyu Utah sucks this yea. They can barely score against garbage opponents. BYU could and should run that score up very high.

I think Arizona is the worst team in the the big 12 right now
It's hard to argue with that. But there are several that are competing pretty hard for that spot.
