You picked up on the fact that the bass line changes slightly after the bridge of "why do you do what you do to me". Every other cover I've listened to plays that throughout the entire song. Granted, you also added some of your own flair in there. The sign of a true musician. Keep up the great work.
I'd have to strongly disagree. He doesn't have an ear for the subtlety. He plays the fill at 00:43 too early. It's not going up a whole step yet. The bass player of Maroon 5 clearly plays the G to lead into the fill and hangs on it, and the second time he plays that fill in the chorus he goes up to an A to start that same fill. If that makes sense. Just listen to the song..

I use Elixir bass strings. They deliver a full range of bass tones, from fat, round lows to punchy mids and sweet top-end detail and the tone last 3-5x longer than ordinary strings
