I know right, I have been waiting for a video like this. In every deck Kripp makes he adds Syvannas, Cairne, 2 loot hoarders and sometimes infested tauren.
N'Zoth OTK (sort of, not really): 1. Nefarian into Embrace the Shadow and Circle of Healing. 2. Spellslinger into Shield Block. 3. Thaurissan as much as required (by Duplicates, Manic Soulcasters, etc.) 4. N'Zoth into 4 Mistresses of Mixtures, then Baron Rivendare, then Embrace the Shadow, then Shield Block, then Reno (optional) then finally Circle of Healing for a 32 damage OTK! I mean, you could completely forego the N'Zoth, but I can't be bothered to think up something else.
22:28 this misplay is because he did not count the damage for optimal amount of remaining life at the end of the turn. Reno and fireball leaves him with 10 health only accounting for the opponent's board. Flamestrike missiles leaves him with 3 health accounting for the opponent's board only. Kind of a lazy play.

Only way Krip wins is if he plays Reno and then 3 missiles and kills a target on the board. Killing auctioneer would've been best bed and that would still leave krip with around 6-8 hp on the following turn. He could've bought himself an extra draw with that play but I still think he'd lose.

What about using Fireball to kill Kun and then Reno? and actually, I believe killing the Auctioneer was not the best bed. The druid would have to trade with it or kill it somehow, since Feral Rage would make him draw into more fatigue damage.
1 is the value of 100% sure hit. He had 4 targets including face. The chance of not hitting face is 3/4. You roll 3 times with a 3/4 chance that you dont hit your target. Meaning 1-(3/4x3/4x3/4). So 100% chance of hitting - 0.42 (42%) chance of not hitting face makes it 0.58 or 58% that one of the three rolls will hit face. IE its not ridiculous RNG but a very likely probability. Basically shows Krip once again knows nothing of math :P
It's even smaller than 1-(3/4)^3, because that doesn't take into consideration the situation of either the Bloodmage or the Slime dying. With all that worked out, it becomes ~64% chance for the block to proc. That would leave him at 5 (in the worst case scenario). After that he would win because of enemy draw fatigue (together with missisles/ping/Reno attk) Other case would be if the guy threw Feral as +8 armor instead of +4 attk. Enemy would be at 10+8arm (18 hp; next draw -8) and would have 5+4+7+4 (20) on the board. He could go Kripp face to get him down to 10 but would leave Kripp's Reno (4)+ping+3x missisles+potential Babbling Book/Frostbolt/Firelands Portal lethal. Anyways, the play he did might seem the best play to the eye (mmm 4 dmg everyone) but the one with the biggest chance of him surviving AND winning was Reno play because it was obvious that it would be either the last or the one before the last turn. Even if he survived the turn he died, what would be the point of having Reno then when enemy was about to die when he draws a card?

Dylan Mead In its literal best-case-scenario it's a 0 mana 5/5 lategame that you just unduplicated your deck for. Druids just got the same minion except it's 2/2 bigger, and can combo for OTKs. Leel.
It only makes 1 spell free. so unless you're playing 1 10 mana spell your idea is pointless and the only 10 mana spells you'd possibly use is a kazakus potion or pyroblast. the only ways she's good are with spells that cost 7 mana or more.
I think you should've gone for missiles + fireball face in the last game. It was pretty unlikely that 3 missiles would hit face but it was the only chance that you could win.
In the last match you could have gotten lethal if 3 out of 9 missiles hit the enemy face (he had 17 hp, fireball 6, fatigue 7, ping 1), which is a still a better chance than killing a malygos and kun with 6 out of 9 shots. Another better play was to go for reno and fireball the kun, since he probably doesn't have any damaging spells left. (in the end that play would have won him the game, since the enemy druid could only deal 25 face damage with feral rage and ping) 22:29
Reno + Fireball to the face would've been a styling win at the end. Leaves druid at 4 HP with 28 dmg on board (incl. hero power). If druid uses a spell he mills and dies, if he doesn't, he mills and dies next turn. Only out would be a charge minion like druid of the claw, but judging from the blizzard turn, druid did not have a 2 dmg charger or kripp would be dead that turn.
You know I hadn't thought of it until he mentioned he was going to get a golden one from a card effect, but you would think kripp would have crafted a golden n'zoth already since it's like his favorite card.

lol there's nothing about any N'Zoth deck that 'builds' itself. People experimented for months after Whispers with every single class with N'Zoth. N'Zoth Warrior was still being experimented with two months into Karazhan. If you think "just stuck a bunch of good deathrattles in" is all you need to make a good N'Zoth deck, then you've clearly never tried to make your own.

Tyler Hampton It's not that it's not respectable, it's just an oversight in design. There's no adequate counter to a N'Zoth. You put all the usual deathrattle minions you would want to put in your deck anyway like sludge belcher and Sylvanas, maybe if you really want to be cheeky you put a couple extra, you get tons of value off of your super value oriented deathrattle minions, then n'zoth pulls them out again for even more value and there's nothing you can do about it. There's no playable version of Nerubar weblord or loetheb for battlecry minions to stop it or delay it, there's no board clear that can kill all that shit and leave nothing on the opponent's board except for pre-nerf Yogg. That shit is corny and played out. It's the 10 mana Dr. Boom - even if it doesn't really have that much synergy with your deck you can just throw it in there and it will still do cheese and win games for you. That's even the point of this video - it's too easy to just play it with an obvious structure in your deck and win. Whether you're building specifically for N'Zoth or just happen to be building a deck with maybe 3 good deathrattles, it's just too obvious where you're going from there and there's no reason not to because there's nothing that effectively stops it.
That Arcane Missiles hitting your Block wasn't actually that big in terms of RNG. Check it out: There were four targets on the board, one of which is your face. You've got three missiles being fired, each of which have a one in four chance of hitting your face and popping the Block. This also means that each of them have a three in four chance of not hitting your Block. Only one needs to hit to pop your Block, so the chance of your Block not being popped that turn is the chance of all of them missing, or (3/4)^3, which comes out to 27/64. He actually had a better than even shot at popping your Block with just a single Arcane Missiles.

I have enough dust to get a legendary. I was going for either Sylvanas or Ragnaros. I would love to get N'Zoth dough... but at some time it will go out of Standard... What to do, so many choices!
N'Zoth is a super volatile card. Not imbalanced, but volatile. Meaning if you manage to play it and get like 3-4 big minions back, and your opponent can't kill you that turn, it's game over. Blizzard likes volatility in their games, they usually start off slow and by the 3rd or 4th expansion the game is crazy. The same happened to StarCraft II. I guess it makes for a better spectacle, but it also makes players rage and lose their minds more than they would if the game was more reasonably paced.
True, but a big N'zoth normally only comes late in the game and by then you can probably guess that they have N'zoth in the deck due to playing sub-par deathrattle minions. That gives you time to find and save a big AoE for it. It still leads to unfortunate circumstances but they're a bit less common than one would think.
does anybody know if you can trade in cards that go into wild for the full ammount? or is it still 400 for legendaries?.. i spent so much dust for my class legenderies to only find out half off them are leaving standard in the next few months

You put all the usual deathrattle minions you would want to put in your deck anyway like sludge belcher and Sylvanas, maybe if you really want to be cheeky you put a couple extra, you get tons of value off of your super value oriented deathrattle minions, then n'zoth pulls them out again for even more value and there's nothing you can do about it. There's no playable version of Nerubar weblord or loetheb for battlecry minions to stop it or delay it, there's no board clear that can kill all that shit and leave nothing on the opponent's board except for pre-nerf Yogg. That shit is corny and played out. It's the 10 mana Dr. Boom - even if it doesn't really have that much synergy with your deck you can just throw it in there and it will still do cheese and win games for you. That's even the point of this video - it's too easy to just play it with an obvious structure in your deck and win. Whether you're building specifically for N'Zoth or just happen to be building a deck with maybe 3 good deathrattles, it's just too obvious where you're going from there and there's no reason not to because there's nothing that effectively stops it.

That Arcane Missiles hitting your Block wasn't actually that big in terms of RNG. Check it out:
There were four targets on the board, one of which is your face. You've got three missiles being fired, each of which have a one in four chance of hitting your face and popping the Block. This also means that each of them have a three in four chance of not hitting your Block. Only one needs to hit to pop your Block, so the chance of your Block not being popped that turn is the chance of all of them missing, or (3/4)^3, which comes out to 27/64. He actually had a better than even shot at popping your Block with just a single Arcane Missiles.

N'Zoth is a super volatile card. Not imbalanced, but volatile. Meaning if you manage to play it and get like 3-4 big minions back, and your opponent can't kill you that turn, it's game over. Blizzard likes volatility in their games, they usually start off slow and by the 3rd or 4th expansion the game is crazy. The same happened to StarCraft II. I guess it makes for a better spectacle, but it also makes players rage and lose their minds more than they would if the game was more reasonably paced.
True, but a big N'zoth normally only comes late in the game and by then you can probably guess that they have N'zoth in the deck due to playing sub-par deathrattle minions. That gives you time to find and save a big AoE for it. It still leads to unfortunate circumstances but they're a bit less common than one would think.
