I haven't heard a single complaint from anyone who has seen it, it is absolutely stunning. I was shocked at how hard it was to look away, every note of the music is perfect. This movie is going to be history.
@Lee Brown I was literally about to say that! My only "complaints" are those!!! Camilo in Spanish is equally great 😂 I don't think they expected Camilo and Dolores to be so loved by the audience, Pepa's whole family is just amazing. If there is an Encanto 2 I really want to see if they'll give us more!! More everything! More Pepa's kids, more Bruno and definitely more of Julieta's family dynamic.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I've come across quite a few people who didn't care for it. Usually it came down to one of three things: Lin-Manuel Miranda's music, which I guess just isn't for everyone, the fact that they didn't like the characters, and the fact that the movie felt short and the ending seemed too rushed. While I do think that the cast is really big --- and maybe even a little too big for the length of the movie, I personally love every minute of it. The music is gorgeous, the characters are all unique and interesting, and there were a lot of thematic elements that felt so real and authentic to me. Plus, the movie has a ton of subtle details that make it even better when you watch it multiple times. While many of the characters only get a few minutes of screentime overall, every single scene is jam-packed with detail and little beats that give you a solid understanding of who these people are --- and why. The plot itself may look fairly simplistic, but the dynamics of these characters and the journeys they take are not.
@Lee Brown YESS, ive only seen people complaining about how little screentime Camilo and Dolores got, and i agree (i havent seen the movie yet but i know it was like around 6 minutes), considering how good their voices are they definitely deserved to sing more and just to be on screen more in general p.s idk if any of this made sense but yk

The interesting thing is that Bruno is the sweetest person in the entire family. His gift is that he can see the future. People get mad at him for simply telling the truth. Tia Pepa (the one who controls the weather with her feelings) is the one who destroyed her own wedding; Not Bruno! All Bruno said was "It looks like rain" and that upset her so SHE caused the hurricane. Anyhoo, Isabela (the oldest who creates flowers) did NOT get a "good" prophesy from Bruno. Yes, he told her that the life she wanted would one day be hers. The reason she's singing is because she did NOT get that. She is miserable because she's forced to be perfect all the time and marry a man she doesn't like all because the family expects her to do so. The life she wants is to be free, to be herself, to be IMPERFECT. Please watch this movie!!! *Encanto* is the greatest thing I've ever seen. Heck, I'm 52 years old and have seen it 8 times. 🥰🤗
Correction, what isabela said in the song are just right. Her dream is to become imperfect and do what she wants. And that actually happened in the ending so isabela is not lying. :> "He told me that the life of my dreams will be promised and someday be mine" that explains her attitude, doings, appearance in the ending. Not so perfect. "He told me that my powers will grow like grapes that thrive on the vine" that explains her powers when she discovered that she can do something new. In the song where in she is singing with mirabel. No hate ^^
28 y.o., watched 40x in a week. Got me through Covid without going nuttier than Bruno from social isolation. He lasted 10 years, and still came out a sweetheart. I barely lasted 5 days, and was an emotional wreck the entire time. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to revert back to Pre-K, skidoo like Blues Clues into the movie, and give Bruno the biggest hug I'd ever given anyone in my life. Even if I could, I probably shouldn't, since I might break his spine in a bear hug like Luisa to Mirabel. I cried so hard that its 2 weeks later and I still can't cry anymore. Too dehydrated. I need some water before I can watch this again. Abuela, Pepa, all of you! Cut poor Bruno a break! And as for the man who "grew a gut," after the way you treated Mirabel, you deserve to grow twice the gut! (But seriously, diet and exercise, dude. Join Noom if you have to! Don't blame Bruno for your weight, as he had nothing to do with any of it.)
@@iancruz9281 When Isabela sang her lines, her life was still "perfect" and her powers were only able to grow flowers. Isabela didn't sing after she sang What else can i do, she sang before that
@@whel9007 you misunderstood my point. Therefore, isabela wasnt lying because all of the words that has been said by isabela did came true.
The ironic thing about Isabela’s prophecy is that it SOUNDS amazing, but we later learn that it’s actually her worst nightmare. One interpretation of that prophecy is “I’m going to have to keep this farce of perfection up until the day I die.”
No. What was actually said was the "life of my dreams would someday be mine" and that her power would grow. The prophecy never mentioned marriage. *spoilers* she got out of the engagement she didn't want, and her power grew as she learned to be herself
@@dunningkrugerfxs5848 I think it was more accurate to say that like many others, it was her interpretation of the prophecy that caused the problem. She saw the prophecy as a trap because of the expectations of her family. That’s not what it was about at all. But when she’s singing she still thinks that. Which is why when everybody else is singing as well and she isn’t as easily heard she stops saying “on the vine” and instead sings “and I’m fine, and I’m fine, I’m fine.”
It's funny because right before I saw this video, they had a piece on TV about how different this movie is because there's no stereotypical "princess". The heroine is a little girl with glasses and doesn't come from a royal family. The kids in my family have watched this movie numerous times. It's about time Disney!
Um.... Mulan? Tiana? Lilo? Tarzan? Belle? Mowgli? 101 Dalmatiers? The Rescuers? Dumbo? Damn, even Cinderella doesn't come from a royal family (even if she eventually marries into one) and works her ass off scrubbing floors, which is something I'm sure YOU will never do.
@Kōhai Moana, Pocahontas, and Merida are all the daughters of chiefs / clan leaders (effectively princesses, just not from "royal" families). And Vanellope was a princess.
The movie was released late November and has been on Disneyplus since Dec. 24th. Its got 8 original songs by Lin Manuel Miranda so there's a lot if you want to react to more songs.
My favorite thing about this song is that Isabella's part of the song makes everyone think that she got the perfect prophesy, but it is actually a little twisted. Genius writing that.
The way I see it, Isabella's was about the life SHE wanted. True, she sang her part because she thought she was going to have a life free from the expectations, free from marrying someone she doesn't like. It was only after Mirabel talked to her that she realized she had to take the life she wanted for herself in order for the prophecy to come true. Same with Dolores. Dolores' came true in the moment, but because Isabella took the life she wanted for herself, Dolores was able to confess to Mariano and build the life SHE wanted
My almost 16 yr old daughter has watched this movie like 6 times lol. She loves it and now I know all the songs and even have added some to my playlist lol. It's actually a really good movie.

I watched this last week with my 8year old granddaughter. It is truly awesome movie.. Bruno is mysterious but only because they are afraid of his ability to see parts of the future. It is worth watching.
I love that you read a synopsis of the video before you reacted. I have seen very few actually do this and so they are always very confused in the reactions.
I was kind of hesitant to watch Encanto, I didn't really know much about it, I do like musicals but I thought it would be the classic cookie-cutter disney princess film. I am so glad I was so wrong, Lin Manuel Miranda is a musical genius.
The thing I like about Isabella's part is that at first you think her prophecy has already come true, but then you realize she's still waiting for her's and at the time of the song is still trapped
Bruno's reputation was only bad because as soon as Abeula would see the bad in his visions about the future, she wouldn't let him finish it. Mirabel did...which is why she got to see further in his visions. Most of his visions weren't bad. Bruno just never got to finish it because Abuela only cared about the miracle.
Bruno is so nice though honestly! I mean- what is he supposed to do? He's just telling what he sees, he can't control someone's future. Pepa ruined her own wedding by letting Bruno get to her when he didn't mean to. He wasn't the one who outright caused people's future to go bizarre. He just told them what happened in the future, never said he had control over it cause he doesn't have control over the future. Bruno is honestly one of my favorite characters in there
If you get the chance you should see the movie. .Our little granddaughter put it on .. with very very low volume and then narrated and acted out the entire movie.. I love this movie and the music and colors and the story behind it. I love all of the songs, but my favorite 2 are We don’t talk about Bruno and Surface Pressure. My favorite 2 parts in We don’t talk about Bruno is Dolores where she’s quiet “rapping” and then Camilo where he can change into other people, his voice is just soothing and I love it. Bruno isn’t bad, watch the movie and you’ll see why.
Bruno wasn’t a beast. He just tried to warn people of what was coming and rather then trying to prevent it and preparing to accept it in a “que sera sera” attitude they decided to blame the messenger for the problems he was just trying to warn them about.
I'm more scared of Camilo than Bruno, based here. Pause at the exact right time (He sees your dreams), and the shadows and shading make Camilo look like he has no eyes!
Lyrics: What if he didn't understand what he saw? Then you better figure it out because he was coming for you. We dont talk about Bruno, no, no, no, no we dont talk about Bruno. But, It was my wedding day *(It was our wedding day)* We were getting ready and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. *(No clouds allowed in the sky.)* Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin. *(Thunder)* Are you telling this story or am I.? Sorry, mi vida please go on Bruno said, "it looks like rain". *(Why did he tell us?)* Doing so, he floods my brain. *(Abuela, get the umbrella)* married in a hurricane. *(What a joyous day but anyway)* We dont talk about Bruno, no, no, no We dont talk about Bruno. Hey, grew to live in fear of Bruno, stuttering or stumbling. I can always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling. I associate him with the sound of falling sand. Ch, ch, ch. Its a heavy lift with a gift so humbling. Always left abuela and the family fumbling, Grappling with prophecies. They couldn't understand. Do you understand.? A seven-foot frame, rats along his back When he calls your name it all fades to black. Yeah, he sees your dreams, And feasts on your screams. Hey we dont talk about Bruno, no no, no We dont talk about Bruno. He told me my fish would die the next day, dead No, no he told me I'd grow a gut, And just like he said. No, no He said that all my hair would disappear, Now, look at my head. Hey your fate is sealed when your prophecy is read. He told me that the life of my dreams would be promised and some day be mine. He told me that my power would grow, Like the grapes that thrive on the vine Óye, Mariano's on his way. He told me that the man of my dreams, would be just out of reach. Betrothed to another its like I hear him, Hey sis I want not a sound out of you. I can hear him now Yeah, about that Bruno. I really need to know about Bruno. Gimme the truth, and the whole truth, Bruno. Isabela, your boyfriend's here time for dinner. A seven-foot frame, rats along his back. When he calls your name it all fades to black he told me that my power would grow, Like a grape that thrives on that vine. Óye, Mariano's on his way bruno. Bruno says "it looks like rain". *(Why did he tell us?")* In doing so he floods my brain. *(Abuela, get the umbrella)* Married in a hurricane, He's here Dont talk about Bruno, No, no, no Why did I talk about Bruno? Not a word about Bruno. I never shoulda brought up Bruno.
I like that he looked it up a little bit before listening to it, not many people do that and spend time in the reaction understanding what is going on. Which is fine but it’s nice he looked it up beforehand.
Me the first time seeing the movie: ahh dang I don’t like Bruno either. Me the second time seeing the movie: DONT TALK ABOUT MY SWEET BABY BRUNO LIKE THAT BEFORE I-
One thing I like that you did was to read the synopsis first. It’s not a spoiler, but it’s necessary to add context to the song. Good job! Nice reaction
one thing that people don't pick up on is that when they are singing about being married in a hurricane, the reason that happened was Bruno told her that it was going to rain on her wedding day and because of that it flooded her brain, she can make/control weather so by panicking about the weather she made it rain and made a hurricane and almost all if not all of Bruno's prophecy's are self fulfilling.
if u watch in the background of when the lady says “i associate him with the sound of falling sand in the background bruno is walking around on the balcony
Bruno just tells a overall piece of info .they will find important details and finishing details when the situations happens. But pet fish die eventually, growing a gut happens eventually. Losing hair is so common. Why is a priest of a church asking Bruno to tell him the future anyway 🤔
The final straw was when his mother begged him to use his gift to find out why Mirabel didn’t have a gift, but then instead of providing answers he disappeared allegedly running away.
Ohhhh it would be amazing to watch you reacting to Encanto! I would love to see that and I'm sure everyone else subscribed to you would love to watch that also!!!
So if you don’t get the part about the wedding Bruno said “it looks like rain” as a joke but then she got worried that it was a vision then her mother pulled out an umbrella because she thought that she was going to create a storm but she wasn’t but at the sight of her mother pulling out an umbrella she thinks that her mother has no faith in her so she was in so much grief that she created a storm then a hurricane.
Isabela’s prophecy is misunderstood by everyone around her because they see her as perfect so her prophecy must also be perfect. Grapes thrive on hard, dry, infertile soil so the prophecy actually means that she would grow and achieve her dreams only through hardships and adversity, as she does in the movie.
We don’t talk about bruno no no no no we don’t talk about Bruno but it was our wedding day was getting ready but Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin

Oh yeah, this song is a banger. Saw it twice during Christmas break. lol
Bruno wasn’t a beast. He just tried to warn people of what was coming and rather then trying to prevent it and preparing to accept it in a “que sera sera” attitude they decided to blame the messenger for the problems he was just trying to warn them about.
My favorite verse was probably when he shapshifts into Bruno
I'm more scared of Camilo than Bruno, based here. Pause at the exact right time (He sees your dreams), and the shadows and shading make Camilo look like he has no eyes!
Lyrics:
What if he didn't understand what he saw?
Then you better figure it out because he was coming for you.
We dont talk about Bruno, no, no, no, no
we dont talk about Bruno.
But,
It was my wedding day
*(It was our wedding day)*
We were getting ready and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
*(No clouds allowed in the sky.)*
Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin.
*(Thunder)*
Are you telling this story or am I.?
Sorry, mi vida please go on
Bruno said, "it looks like rain".
*(Why did he tell us?)*
Doing so, he floods my brain.
*(Abuela, get the umbrella)*
married in a hurricane.
*(What a joyous day but anyway)*
We dont talk about Bruno, no, no, no
We dont talk about Bruno.
Hey, grew to live in fear of Bruno, stuttering or stumbling.
I can always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling.
I associate him with the sound of falling sand. Ch, ch, ch.
Its a heavy lift with a gift so humbling.
Always left abuela and the family fumbling,
Grappling with prophecies. They couldn't understand.
Do you understand.?
A seven-foot frame, rats along his back
When he calls your name it all fades to black.
Yeah, he sees your dreams,
And feasts on your screams.
Hey
we dont talk about Bruno, no no, no
We dont talk about Bruno.
He told me my fish would die the next day, dead
No, no
he told me I'd grow a gut,
And just like he said.
No, no
He said that all my hair would disappear,
Now, look at my head.
Hey
your fate is sealed when your prophecy is read.
He told me that the life of my dreams would be promised and some day be mine.
He told me that my power would grow,
Like the grapes that thrive on the vine
Óye, Mariano's on his way.
He told me that the man of my dreams, would be just out of reach.
Betrothed to another
its like I hear him,
Hey sis
I want not a sound out of you.
I can hear him now
Yeah, about that Bruno.
I really need to know about Bruno.
Gimme the truth, and the whole truth, Bruno.
Isabela, your boyfriend's here
time for dinner.
A seven-foot frame, rats along his back.
When he calls your name it all fades to black
he told me that my power would grow,
Like a grape that thrives on that vine.
Óye, Mariano's on his way
bruno.
Bruno says "it looks like rain".
*(Why did he tell us?")*
In doing so he floods my brain.
*(Abuela, get the umbrella)*
Married in a hurricane,
He's here
Dont talk about Bruno,
No, no, no
Why did I talk about Bruno?
Not a word about Bruno.
I never shoulda brought up Bruno.
I like that he looked it up a little bit before listening to it, not many people do that and spend time in the reaction understanding what is going on. Which is fine but it’s nice he looked it up beforehand.
i know some may know this already but you can see bruno at 3:34 dancing in the back ground
PLEASE react to “Surface Pressure” it’s definitely one of the best songs in the soundtrack!
You should listen to the Encanto song Drip Drip (Surface Pressure) kind of a jam.
No he shouldn't. He should watch the actual movie.
While it's a good song it's not as good as don't talk about bruno 🔥
@@sannaolsson9106 I mean, why can't he do both? He can watch it but he doesnt react to movies, just songs so...
@@treblemix_ really. I liked Surface Pressure better than We Dont Talk About Bruno. Its alright but just isn't a bop like "drip drip drip..."
@@SherriLyle80s to each their own
Me the first time seeing the movie: ahh dang I don’t like Bruno either.
Me the second time seeing the movie: DONT TALK ABOUT MY SWEET BABY BRUNO LIKE THAT BEFORE I-
Loved that your go a bit of context about the movie, awesome reaction!!
One thing I like that you did was to read the synopsis first. It’s not a spoiler, but it’s necessary to add context to the song. Good job! Nice reaction
OMG BUT- 5:47 I just really liked how your background lights turned green as she was starting to say Bruno's name 😊
I recommend this movie its very good.
It’s SUCH a good movie
This was hilarious. Loved how into it you were!
It's such a good movie. It didn't seem as long as it is, because time just flies while watching it.
The movie is currently on Disney+
one thing that people don't pick up on is that when they are singing about being married in a hurricane, the reason that happened was Bruno told her that it was going to rain on her wedding day and because of that it flooded her brain, she can make/control weather so by panicking about the weather she made it rain and made a hurricane and almost all if not all of Bruno's prophecy's are self fulfilling.
Bruno was in the background at 3:24 between them on the balcony. He was even grooving along.
"she ain't supposed to talk about bruno, we don't talk about bruno" me noticing his no fucks given hat lol perfect
LOL That's what I love about this. We don't talk about Bruno! (But we'll have a 15 minute song and dance routine about him)
3:24 look in the back round and that's Bruno as herdano bobbing his head
Bruno isnt evil he can just see the future
if u watch in the background of when the lady says “i associate him with the sound of falling sand in the background bruno is walking around on the balcony
Same Thing With High School Musical I Don't Dance Yet They Are Dancing The Hell Out The Song Disney Funny Like That!
Fact: If you see in the background a light green thing walking in the back it’s Bruno 3:33
Bruno just tells a overall piece of info .they will find important details and finishing details when the situations happens. But pet fish die eventually, growing a gut happens eventually. Losing hair is so common. Why is a priest of a church asking Bruno to tell him the future anyway 🤔
When color is sings you can see him vibeing at the back
2:11 The facial expressions off Pepa 😂
movies on disney plus right now, it's incredibly animated, visually pleasing and downright phenomenal
Bruno in the background enjoying the song 🤣🤣
The final straw was when his mother begged him to use his gift to find out why Mirabel didn’t have a gift, but then instead of providing answers he disappeared allegedly running away.
Ohhhh it would be amazing to watch you reacting to Encanto! I would love to see that and I'm sure everyone else subscribed to you would love to watch that also!!!
This has been on my mind all weekend.
Isabella wearing purple
Her Power is blooming flowers
Bruno is like the one people hates in because he just tells what people don’t want to hear.
The side piece comment 😂 💀 hilarious
I watched this movie yesterday and actually liked it
For a family that “doesn’t talk about Bruno” they talk about Bruno an awful lot!
It was a great movie and I'm actually watching it again right now
we don't TALK about Bruno, we SING about Bruno ;)
🤦🏽♀️😂😂😂😂Kidding me you are scared of Bruno
Yes, you should go watch it. It’s well worth a watch.
The reason ehy Isabella doesn't like Bruno is because he said her powers would grow but they never did she has been making flowers her whole life.
We don’t talk about bruno no no no no we don’t talk about Bruno but it was our wedding day was getting ready but Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin
"We don't talk about Bruno"
"But they never said I couldn't sing"
I think your witty and funny👌 This song brought me to your channel and I'm gonna hang around here for a little bit.
Bruno told the truth....people hate that.
I recommend you hear the spanish version. Love from Colombia.
Normally I don’t care for Lin Manuel’s music but this movie has some bangers!!
On this song we are introduced to Bruno who is a prophet who can see the future
I wish the Oscars didn;t talk about Bruno, lol
I know a reaction to this movie from you would be AMAZING!!!
No one ever notices the guy creeping in the background when Dolores does her quiet singing xD
U can see bruno in the back on top floor walking around
yo i love the last part it was my favorite part of the whole danm song
Just watched your VoicePlay reactions. They did a cover of this. I'm sure you'd enjoy it. 🙂
the guy singing with the rats (i forgot his name) in the movie HE IS SO HOT HELP
