- Welcome to the video. In this one we are taking a look at a new exotic for hunters I like to call, the aimbot knives. Athrys's embrace while at first glance may seem like a meme/gimmicky exotic it does come with some huge lethality. If bouncing knifes for fun isn't your style, don't worry, you can basically 1 shot people with this melee. Let's talk about it. Enjoy!

@@Madaragun it said he died from the feedback fences the exotic gauntlet the titan had. But he never meeled him to trigger the aoe affect they have. So anyone's guess is better then mine
@@Madaragun it was actually dunemarchers that killed him, they have had a glitch where it says it was feedback for a while which is probably because of how both exotics are programmed to work
@@Madaragun Dunemarchers or Feedback Fence, not sure which, but they're titan exotics that chain lightning between enemies when you get punched. That's what killed him.
It's actually illegal to not say "let's go" after a knife kill.

His intro was a better exotic trailer than the one we got. The pre-build montages always impress me with the editing but the tasteful slow-mo really made this one stand out to me.
Cool guy's vid is really helpful for consistently knifing people with a double bounce. It's pretty nutty once you figure it out (basically just aim for at the floor right near a 90* wall).
Yea after watching that video this exotic went from C tier to A tier for me. No S tier because it’s still a bit niche but you can nearly guarantee a kill every time if you have it up.
Definitely A+ or S- lol

@@lilbitnasty4828 Yes it is. The obvious streaks of lightning and the kill feed confirm it. When you’re killed my the Dunemarchers lightning, it says “ACD Feedback Fence” even though it’s not the actual feed back fence.

Yup. Dunemarchers range is just unnecessarily long. Like why tf can I take that much damage from a titan who killed my teammate 15-20 meters away and isn’t even looking in my general direction.
this is what d2 needs not something that completely changes the meta but something to make it more fun
Hey frobo one small tip for getting even more kills and better enemy tracking with that knife and arthrys's embrace,whenever you have a chance throw the knife to the ground so that the second bounce goes from the wall,knife will be much faster and track the enemy better then just trying to throw it agains the wall for a kill ,worked for me like a charm :D ^^

far as i remember some1 saying about this exotic is that because of second bounce aim assist/aimbot best way use those knives were aim ground so that is bounce to the wall in the second jump for max speed and aim because after the second jump that knife gets a very big speed boost

At first I didn't like the design, but now that I see that the arms open up when the perk is active I love it
So, if you hit the ground first then towards a wall, the it tracks the next target after the bounce on the wall. Look for 90 degree angles.
Kind of. Sometimes I throw it on the ground in front of me and the knife takes a right angle to the right and nails the guy. It’s hilarious and I find it to be way more fun than Bakris
@@rhyvy8923 watch CoolGuy’s vid about it, it tracks much more after the last bounce and it has a much greater speed. FrostBolt uses it absolutely wrong.

Hey Frost, use the second bounce, it is pretty much a guaranteed kill (aim for the ground, make it bounce off a wall and enjoy)!!

Pair this exotic with Vigilance. Also, when you throw it with the buff, hit the floor first and ricochet it into a wall.
Pretty sure this exotic is quite underrated. Having a "free" kill every time you land a couple of precision hits is extremely powerful.

Dude, it never ceases to amaze me how many guardians in crucible have running straight at you with a shotty as plans A through C. Fellwinter's seems to have made that worse.

What's fun is if you can stack the buff high enough, you can one shot a super to the head. Turn any super into a unicorn.
U can body a super with it ^^
The buff doesn’t stack damage wise, you get full damage as soon as it procs. Additional crits only increase the length of time, but yes it one shots supers in the head

frosts editing has defs got some pointers from mp edits thats for sure
Definitely should try out berserker, if you get several super kills its damage buff lasts for over 40 seconds it's super useful for someone who team wipes practically every super.
Beserker and Kill clip allows you to 1 burst with the new pulse

The secret is Frostbolt actually knows how to use Athrys but they make it too easy. Frabo doesn't wan to be fed kills Frabo wants to hunt.

At 17:16 how did you die when now one were near you?! As soon as you pop your super you died and it says that the exotic gauntlet killed you but no one is there?!!! Happened to me in legend lost sector.
