Isn't the "ghost punch" kind of Tyron Smith's signature move? I've also heard it called the "fake punch" -- it gets edge rushers to try to shoot outside, where he's ready for you. Either way, Fashuanu couldn't possibly have a better "how to use your hands" teacher.
Good to see you back! Football is in the air, and my favorite jets content creators are in full swing. This video rhymed with your Smith video from yesterday, very exciting! I know you wanted Bowers, but is it safe to say you feel good about picking Olu now?
Appreciate that man. Yeah I’m happy with a pass pro first OT. Think he’s a good player. I hope he doesn’t have to play this year, because that means we’re healthy
@@PlayLikeAJet my god, can you imagine if he doesn't play this year? we might be undefeated 🥹!! i kinda think we are owed a positive-outlier season like that, but i'm happy we have depth. love your breakdowns, Luke, thanks for the content.
BTJ hasnt done anything yet, though. I think it's a mistake to assert like BTJ would be a definite, guaranteed solution/upgrade so soon. If he has a 400 yard, 2 TD rookie season then we'll be so much happier we took Olu. But then maybe BTJ takes off his soph season while Olu is bad. Never know.
@PlayLikeAJet knowing our luck absolutely not. Why we get injured as much as we do is a testament to unluckiness. How many different medical, strength and conditioning changes have we done?
I like him a lot..just dont love drafting someone in 1st round thats not gonna be playing in a must win season. I wouldve went with a weapon. Our wr core is still an issue
@PlayLikeAJet me too although Rodgers doesn't utilize tight ends that much but I would've went Bowers or traded down for Thomas Jr. We still desperately need another good wr
Why is he wearing Mangold's number, #74 needs to be retired, and if Fashanu is as good as advertised we might want to retire his number someday, can't retire 74 twice.
@@PlayLikeAJet I just believe in letting a player master an element of football.. Let Carter Warren man the right side and Olu lock down the left. Olu can get injured while attempting to use his body in a different way than what he’s used to.. You don’t mess around with premier players. Look at AVT.. The Max Mitchell’s of the world, move them around but blue chip prospects? Leave them be; in my opinion.
Apologies about the quiet volume in this one! My son was asleep 😂
From New York USA, love to see a jets fan across the pond. Great understanding of the game and awesome content! Glad I found your channel
I appreciate that man! Thanks for watching.
It’s going to be a fun year
Great work glad we pick OLU
Thanks for watching
Back and grinding. Aiming for 4 videos a week, every single week

He’s definitely a big proponent of it. I think it came up in yesterday’s Smith video.
Smith is about the best mentor you could get

Let’s get some of the UDFA film💪🏽💪🏽
Might be able to squeeze that in!
Dude is a monster. That anchor impressed me big time with his lower body
OT depth looks really nice this year
Good stuff man.
Appreciate you 🙌🏼
Good player but the fact we added 3 quality OL this offseason imo we could’ve picked BTJ. We want to win now? Grab a weapon
I think Thomas’ tape was some of the most overrated in the class

He's got sometime to work on the run blocking. Good thing he can just sit there and watch and work on mechanics.
Hopefully the other two stay healthy

Peasley is #14 ... Martinez is #15
@@eerreennee my bad. They both stunk

I’m not too sure. My knowledge is limited to film haha.
They could probably retire the number for two players. I don’t think it’s a massive deal
PFF is a clown site
To be fair, it’s not their fault he played RT or that the running game is also a factor.
Saleah can be annoying with his: “player versatility” nonsense
I’m okay with it in this instance because id rather fashanu at RT, if Moses gets hurt

That's an old Parcells thing: player interchangeability. But he mostly used it moving guys from offense to defense and back.
