Art in the Round supports people with developmental disabilities as artists with the talent to be shared. Their talents and skills are also shared in the marketplace as employees contribute to companies’ bottom lines and earn a paycheck. People with disabilities work in food service, as technicians and administrative aides, and in production facilities across the region. Many of the Art in the Round artists work full-time, while others want to work.
Since Covid, 35 new companies have hired people we support, meaning we now work with over 100 employers. This year’s Fund the Mission asks you to help us keep the momentum going.
Help open a door, provide a job interview, or donate to keep our employment team in a position to train and market our workforce so that more people with disabilities can have a chance to prove themselves.
