Mr. Heang Ratha, Director General of the Technical Department of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, confirmed during the inspection of National Road No. 7 that the Royal Government's Pentagon strategy is to promote the national interest and the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Transportation together with Stung Treng Provincial Administration together through the repair of National Road No. 7 to facilitate traffic to both cars and motorcycles.
He added that the technical team will implement the plan to repair this road from this June and build it in 2024 because the Ministry has cooperated with the technical team of the Provincial Department of Public Works and Transport and the technical team of the Engineering Division. Each location is made to be ready as soon as possible.
Mr. Sar Kem Nath, Director of the Provincial Department of Public Works and Transport, confirmed that the plan to repair the road from the Sekong Bridge to the Trapeang Kreal International Gate of Cambodia-Laos is 58 kilometers long and 10 meters wide to create conditions. Please note that this road more than 40 years ago was only repaired, never rebuilt like National Road No. 7 in Kratie province.
