I'm so happy to see all the people here talking about their dear memories with this game. Infinite World and Burst Limit were and will always be my favorite DBZ games. So criminally underrated.
Probably might have sold better under the name Budokai 4, but by then the Budokai Tenkaichi games were out and Bandai didn't want to confuse people at the time perhaps by making them think it's a fourth entry in that sub-series of games.

Maaaaaaan...this was my childhood bruh, I use to have this play all of the time of the PS2 back than man, like I use to have it on a lot then it will auto play and play this Opening/Intro of the Game..Man I feel old >.>
i kinda miss the old Budokai Games. i want the old Beat em up game with this Combo based gameplay. I mean not that the Tenkaichi franchise is bad, its awesome. But now all new Dragon Ball Games are like Tenkaichi, just with a complete new title. (sry for the bad english. im german)
i don´t say really anything bad about Tenkaichi nor Xenoverse. I only say that i miss the Budokai gameplay. i mean to combine moves with each other like in typical fighting games.
I'll never get why this game was mostly forgotten and never really cared about. In my opinion it was way better than Budokai 3 in almost every aspect, the story mode wasn't as fucking tedious and you could replay any scene you wanted at any time without having to restart everything (which you had if you wanted to play as SS4 Goku and you fucked up in Budokai 3, for example). Minigames, more characters. Why do people act like this didn't happen? I even like its intro more. It even wasn't even made into and HD port. They could have gone with making a collection (even if divided into separate discs) that included Budokai 1 - 2 - 3, Shin Budokai - Another Road and this game and that would have been much better for everyone.
It removed the ability to play as several characters like Saibamen, Cell Jr., and Uub. It removed beam struggles, dragon rush, the World Tournament, and the new characters they added have ultimates that are unblockable. I can block SSJ4 Gogeta's x100 Big Bang Kamehameha but I cannot block Janemba's Hell Spike. All of these add up to this game being inferior to Budokai 3. Yes they added a few things that were good like transformations only taking up one slot as you unlock them but it doesn't save it from being inferior. I own both games but when I'm playing with someone and want to relive the best DBZ game I play Budokai 3.

If I gotta be honest, this is my second favorite DBZ intro theme for the games. I absolutely love this song, it's criminally underrated, it feels me with joy and excitement. It may not beat Budokai 3, but it gets really close. And the fact that it recently played in a new sprite animation made me like the song more. Not gonna go in depth about the series, but if people wonder which one it is, then let me know. Overall, this song is just amazing and uplifting.

Not gonna lie, I enjoyed playing this game. I mean despite how it was difficult to win some fights in story mode, I was making progress. I’d love to play it again even though I finished it for the first time. The opening music is a banger! I couldn’t help but feel the rhythmic and energetic of it. This song is a top tier!

It may not exactly be Budokai 6, but knowing DBZ games, I won't be surprised if there was such a game made for the PS4. :D

Carajo que pedazo de juegazo me acuerdo que mi amigo le pidio el Budokai Tenkaichi 3 a su papá y le dieron el Infinite world el lo estaba por decirle a su papá de cambiarlo pero lo convenci de probarlo primero y nos quedamos con cara de😮😮 por la intro y la música después cuando nos volvimos a quedar asi😮😮 por la jugabilidad y por el rosters de personaje sin duda un juegazo
