I checked google and it says common names for Ogbono are wild mango or bush mango seeds. You should try it. Follow her recipe for ease, you can use spinach in place of Uziza leaves. Ogbono is very delicious!

It is the inner seed or core of a mango specie called bish mango, thenfruit itself is edible but doesnt taste so nice, itbis usually harvested and the core is used to make soups, it is slimy like okra. You can use vegetable of your choice in the soup but it tastes great with bitterleaf, uziza or ukasi leaves. You can find it at your local african store

Maybe I shouldn't be shocked by the question. I was initially.
To be honest I've never known anyone outside Nigeria cook it. I used to think it was strictly Igbo food until I realised that the Yoruba have it too. The Yoruba have their own name for it. I think they call it "apon" or something like that. Still, not being biased, nobody, absolutely nobody does ogbono like Igbos.
Having said that the Yoruba are masters of "Ewedu".
It's just that some soups are indigenous to some ethnic groups while some others are more widespread such as okra soup.
For example, to this day I've never seen nsala cooked outside Igboland, let alone Ghana. It's just one of those things.
