Tommy's Tarbukas

First tune we learned this term, guest starring everyone who learned it!

Tune History: Alasdair Fraser wrote this tune in the 80s, and it has been variously titled (Old) Sparky and Bang on the Floor (apparently the original title). When Alasdair Fraser recorded the tune for the album The Road North, the arrangement featured Irish percussionist Tommy Hayes. Alasdair re-christened the tune in Tommy’s honor.
