Why you took one long wall where as you took 3 short walls.. ?? If there are 3 different lenght short walls then the same goes to long wall like bathroom its 1.70m and W.c 1.1m and kitchen 4.0m but you took in simple 4m and 3m can you explain me why

why did you take vertical wc diamention for short wall?
Sir if partition wall is there in plan and foundation details also different then how to solve by long walll short wall . At the time of excavation there is two height 1. Height of main wall 2.height of partition wall. Then which height taken. For long wall and what for short wall or same for both

But we consider the vertical is long wall so how is possible plz explain it give solution
bro there is no any condition that short wall should vertical walls only , we consider only the types of walls present in the plan as short wall after counting long walls.
Choose long wall by its measurement. Ie which has greater length.

sir, i m not sure that is it a printing mistake or i didnt understood but can u pls elobarote how the length in the table for brick masonary at steps for short wall 2 came because it is written 2.7 in calculation and 0.5 in table
You're right. It's a printing mistake. I have the book from which he's teaching and it's full of mistakes. Unfortunately we don't have an alternative as the exam questions are always asked from this book.

Short wall me isliye add krte hai kyu ki hume us step k end tak pahonchna hota hai, or hum hote hai footing k end par. To ab hume us step k inner end tak pahonchne k liye length ko add krna hota hai. And long wall k liye hum deduct islye krte hai kyu ki hum footing outer end par hote hai, or hume pahonchna hota hai step k outer end pr. Isliye hum us extra length ko deduct krte hai.
