    Using panasonic AC since last summer and would recommend this to everyone the cooling is super strong and the power load is very minimal so it is very pocket friendly and coming to the Miraie app it's super convenient to use especially when midnight chills the sleep profile provides a soothing comfort by changing the thermostat automatically one thing that annoys me in this product is that to change the mode or fan speed or vertical swing we have to tap it continuously untill the desired mode is turned on except this AC is superb cools my 225 sq ft room in less than 3 mins and I always keep the temperature at 26 or 27...

      The wifi works with 2.4 bands only... So try to connect to 2.4 band wifi network

    Panasonic Hot and Cold AC has some big issues ....
    1) Panasonic Hot and Cold AC is designed for cold only because if we set AC to "heat" mode, it reset itself to "Auto" mode (which is cooling mode) after some time on its own or when it restart after resuming power after power failure or when you restart yourself or when MirAIe App loses connection to Panasonic server (Panasonic guys called it feature, I call it bad design). Auto mode is cooling mode and such a big mistake is unusual of Panasonic. This issue should be fixable with firmware update through MirAIe app. I wonder why they have not tested condition for hot mode when they are selling Hot and Cold AC. I don't want "Auto" mode which cools when I set for heating mode, it should be in "heat" mode till I switch it back to "cool" mode.
    2) if I set AC to 24 degree Celsius, the room will be hot in say 15 minutes then AC take pause and turn on heating again when temperature drop to 20 degree Celsius or so but during whole time the MirAIe shows green meaning AC is on, they should give indication whether it is actually running or in pause state.
    3) AC does not turn on after the temperature goes to the set temperature, it waits few more degree and long pause which may not be desired
    4) MirAIe app loses connectivity even on strong 2.4 Ghz signal wifi and then reset to "Auto" mode on its own, very poor implementation of logic in my opinion especially for Hot and Cold AC where user may be in in "heat" mode.
    5) MirAIe doesn't show IP address or Mac Address so one can't bind them together in the router which is required by many to secure their network from misuse.
    I hope, someone from Panasonic India is seeing this and resolve the issues asap.

    Wifi operation for within the same room needs a router is it ? With just a wifi phone and the ac in a room i cant connect to the ac via wifi (direct) ?

      This has to do with the special characters in password. I faced the same issue when using “-” in password. Use @ instead.

    Error 193 trying to set connect with the app. Im extremely tech savvy but this app is not even "remotely" user friendly. Scanning qr code registers error, manual connection useless. Wifi direct has no back screen and it just times out. The only reason i bought Panasonic split ac and not daiken was fir the connectivity. Pathetic.

      @@bharathtaurus2 Hello, open mirAIe app -> click on your profile on right top -> Settings -> upgrade firmware.
      The App will star downloading some patch file. Once it's done connect it to your AC

    @PanasonicIn I purchased KU18XYT model a week back. The On Timer and Off Timer even after setting up on the app does not work and the most important 'Shutdown AC after profile ends' even after setting up does not shut the AC off after the profile ends. Please suggest.

      @@VIPINV0060 I got this sorted, use mobile hotspot and try to connect your AC.. looks like some issue with the router bandwidth that isn't supported by the AC WiFi motherboard.
      My router is just below the AC and still it didn't work, so tried this approach and worked

    I purchased panasonic 1.5ton smart ac today. I am on 2.4Ghz wifi network.. When I try to find the panasonic ac device on MirAIe app, ( this is ofcourse after enabling wi-fi icon and SE text on ac) . it is not able to detect the ac at all.
    tried several times.. it is simply not able to find the AC ... looks like my ac has some manufacuring defect, is it?

So far Customer Support has been unable to help and is just claiming that Wifi Module has gone bad when it was perfectly fine just before the update

      I was also suffering from this error. Finally fixed it. It was my wifi router. Someone in my family blocked my ac mac address in router. After unlocking, my ac connected normally. You can try to add your ac with someone's phone hotspot to check if it connects with that hotspot. If ac connects then its something with your router.

    App is full of bugs, even login to app is challenging, it will let you know that your password is incorrect for sure correct password, if you click on forget password it will show many random messages like "something wrong occured, please try after sometime" if you click generate OTP, it will show again some random messages, really buggy application, it should have been tested before releasing...
