I have been in Canada for 21yrs, I know a lot of people who have crossed over to US and they are doing well . Canada is operated, there is a lot of crime these days car highjacking every day. We cannot compare crime in US to Canada because the population is far bigger than Canada. Things are cheaper in US, houses for mortgage or rent has sky rocketed. As for working your taxes I do not get money back because of my income and the only way I do not pay government back because I pay into my RSP. I know so many people who pay government back at the end of the tax year.

Thanks for stating correct facts..these people who recently migrated to Canada argue as though they are diplomats of Canada😂. Most of them even earn less than so many people in Nigeria. Alot of them borrowed money to that same Canada yet they speak of tax as though they know anything.

You dont need a university degree to work in the bank generally even in the US. Also, it is not necessarily US rejects that come to Canada, those who come in as permanent residents and as students are more, Canada just happens to be a bit lenient when it comes to refugee/asylum seekers. Also, for people who are prone to being sick, Canada is better as healthcare is free if you are a permanent resident but US has more economical opportunities and the pay is better.

Don't mind him. He is talking in trash. Someone that only has only high school diploma works in USA bank too.

That's true, people just come to social media to expose their ignorance. As long as you have a high school diploma you can work in the bank, even in America.

This conversation is very subjective just as we live in a subjective world but what I would say is this, if there is any place I would recommend anyone to immigrate to, it is Canada, ideally do it legally and preferable do it before you hit the 40 year mark especially if you are doing fine in Nigeria.
The only reason I put the age cap is that you need time to accumulate wealth, you would not necessarily be super rich like in Nigeria especially if you are not the entrepreneurial type, but you would definitely live a comfortable lifestyle if you have the right mindset and attitude.
Life is not about mass amounts of money. Money is only a defense, and life to me is all about having a quality lifestyle.
As someone said, Canada is full of milk and honey, but you have to find your cows and bees, and as the slogan of Ontario goes, it is “Yours to Discover.""
If you understand the workings of the mind, you will definitely succeed in this so-called land of the west and who said this is the land of the west anyway, this is the land of the indigenous first nation peoples colonized/occupied by the adventurous Europeans.

How can you ever compare the US to Canada ? Una just Dey make me laugh . How ? That’s an insult 😅. Not even in a 100 years to come . I’ve lived in both places & I can confidently tell you that the states 🇺🇸 is a million times better than Canada .
Once you mind your business , be lawful & do the right thing then you shouldn’t be worried about the gun violence which I believe is mostly of concern in the US.
Yankee sweet pieces . Comparing the US to Canada is like comparing Ikoyi to Surulere . Al the billionaires in the world , famous film makers , religious leaders ,celebrities etc dey enter US. Even my Canadian friends sef dey rush enter US for opportunities. In conclusion the both counties cannot be compared in any way or in any level . The United States 🇺🇸 is by far better than Canada . On a scale of 10 . It’s gonna be like a ratio of 4:10 with the Canada been 4 & the states been 10.

I live in the US and a citizen. I live in Buffalo New York to be precise that's like 1 hour drive to Toronto. 1. if you are legal in Canada and you moved to the US to work, you are going to pay double government taxes when you file. Why do that? US is good for family depending on where you live, there's gun violence in any big cities in the western world so saying US has gun violence and not good for family is wrong. There's shooting in west side of toronto every week, google it! so it's not different from chicago or new york city. You just have to choose where to live. You also need to know that US has bigger economy and the population is like 10x that of canada, that is why things are cheaper compared to Canada: demand and supply apart from the currency exchange factor. You can make more money in abroad than Nigeria depending on how you upgrade yourself educationally and acquaint yourself with the direction of the economy. There will not be open border, only canadian citizen and PR with visa can cross, world cup will not change homeland security rules.

No, it's not the same. They do have some similarities in grammar and have many words in common but they are different languages. I'm currently learning Swedish and have listened to both Danish and Norwegian. I could pick some words but couldn't understand the whole message. Only some native of these countries especially those who have been in touch with their neighbors can understand somehow most of these languages.

Daddy Freeze, this guy is not correct by saying an immigrant with a sch cert can work in banks. It is even difficult for a Uni graduate to secure a bank job. They would rather hire a Canadian without pry sch cert. I have been there, sch there, work there, got their kpally b4 I Waka to USA to settle.

From Toronto to Niagara Falls is more than 2hrs. From Niagara Falls to NY city is more than four hours by road. However, by air, it is less than an hour.
In all, Canada is the best place to be if you are prepared to live a better and honest life.
