& i know- when i see a ‘x’ i do NOT immediately think of Roman Numerals. But the note in the other room uses them, so kind of a tip off

34 is from the triangle of numbers, where the bottom adjacent numbers add up to the top one, so 2+1=3, 1+3=4
67 is from the sequence of numbers

The combination lock (3467) still didn't make any sense. Anyone explain again.
I figured it out with the 7, ?, ?, 2, 1, 3 triangle. The 2 missing spots are the sum of the numbers below. 2 and 1 equal 3, 1 and 3 equal 4. Then you use those sums to equal 7. After that, I used the numbers on the table to see which ones were both in the triangle and the table. 3 and 4 was there through subtracting paired numbers. After some thinking, I just started adding the 3 numbers at the bottom which equaled six. Then I just put those numbers in, which didn't work at first. I tried a bunch of different things and then the game bought me those numbers in chronological, 3467. Hope it helps
basically the first two numbers you get from the first hint, the triangle, and then the other two from the desk.
1) the way the triangle works is based on additions. the first two bottom numbers (on the first line), 1 and 2, add up to three (which will be in the second line). so the first question mark is 3. the other two bottom numbers (still on the first line), 1 and 3, add up to four (which will be on the second line too). so the second question mark is 4. to check, you can also add 3 and 4 from the second line and you get the 7 on the third line, which confirms your result.
2) this is just flipping the numbers. as you can see, the question marks are flipped. so, you flip the numbers too, in order to make the question marks make sense, and you get 66 l ?? l 68 l 69 l 70. counting, the number is 67.

How did you get the combination 2631? I get, that it has to sum up to 12, but how did you figure out this order? Just trial and error?
Yes, was trial and error for me, I wasn't able to find a logical connection anywhere

Whole level was overall decent, the only other stupid thing (in my opinion) was the hairspray flamethrower, because....well, that's not exactly how it works xD Also funny how the cake is so old, bugs got into it, but the candles haven't burnt out/melted completely/whatever
