@Motogents Well I don't track, just street🤣🤣🤣... however, I noticed you said it was extremely noisy ? I currently use an Arai Quantum X, and I find that to be the quietest so far.
Yeap well kinda , you can try adjusting visor mechnisam on both sides,in my case the only time that visor work like it should is when i lube the ruber gasket on the helmet.
Sexy looking helmet yes. Expensive definitely but this was made for track/racing use. I have the AGV K1 helmet shoot I have 3 of them and they are by far the best helmets I have owned. I have the k1 warmup model which is a red an black matte color. And I even have the solid white and solid black AGV k1 helmet. I’ve had the icon airflite helmet and even the Ruroc and the AGV is by far the most quietest one and most comfortable to use and wear...
That is righy mate,i have also owned K1 and K3 if i remember correctly it was long time ago and they were amazing helmets. Agv truly makes some awsome lids.
GSXR Frank, I'm confused which helmet to go for either the AGV Pista GP R/ Ruroc Atlas 3.0... Since agv pista gp is expensive and used for the track, which other agv helmet is better for road?? I wanted to own an agv glossy carbon helmet. Loved the AGV pista GP glossy carbon. It was one of my dream helmets to own, but saw many people suggesting that it's not good for the road, due to wind noise, but it's really good for that track. Do all their helmets function the same way related to wind noise? Could you provide a detailed explanation comparing the AGV with the Ruroc Atlas 3.0 helmet? Or the one which you have?? And if not AGV pista GP, which other AGV helmet is good (which is not track oriented, would love to own a carbon fiber helmet). Sorry for the long text though! I'm just confused!!
Need to fully understand this is not a street helmet by any means at all, so wind noise is not great, everything about this helmet is perfection on track/Racing, you want a good AGV for the street go for the GP-R/K6/K3
@@Motogents it is, the Pista Single R is a great track focused Street helmet, that’s what it was made for, the Double R is the exact helmet used in Moto GP
Yeap man, that was the point of my whole video but some people get me wrong like i am hating on the lid. Amazing for trackdays and not so much on the street.👊🏼✊🏼
Racing doesn't need indents/stops on visor . Just like the race r pro for example. Earplugs are standard practice. And so on...pista is THE most track dedicated helmet. Of course it sucks on the street, it wasn't made for it
I too own this helmet - I agree with the clasp sticking and the no indent to keep it partially open - other than those to annoyances i like it very much - mine is extremely quiet - the fit is definitely a race fit which means its a tight fit going on and equally tight when removing it - also I find that the profile of it is smaller than other AGV helmets I own - I am a perfect AGV Small but this helmet is definitely a race fit - I like it but use it only day rides as it would bother me if I were on a three or four day trip - I've found the best all around AGV helmet is the new K 5 SV ingegrated sun visor, plush lining vs the original K5 and and excellent fit - for the price its excellent
Wind noise is a not a good criteria, this is a racing helmet made for people that wear earplugs. The other points are quite interesting but because I'm a moron, my main criteria is the shape of the helmet. ;)
You said it already. It’s for the track. Pista GPrr is a better version. But it’s still not for touring or daily... buy a different type of of helmet for road use. Pista is not for road use. Shoei gt air 2 is a better road use helmet
Hahahahaha!!! Thanks for making this video with relating to ur 3rd point , i too have pista gp-r and installed sena 10c pro and it only picked wind noise in video and i removed and checked the mic more than 5 times and even complained to sena for wind noise ,later got to know that it's helmet fault as its way too loud and is not at all a touring helmet😐 Finally ordered shoei gt air 2 , lets hope this one would b little quieter 😌
You are welcome, glad you like it. Yeah Pista is pretty bad in wind noise department definitely not a touring helmet. I have tried gt air 2 and when it comes to wind noise shoei is on another level. But on the other hand plastic bucket is more quiet than the pista.
@@Motogents 🤣🤣🤣 in india pista gp r costs around 1500 $ and still need to buy another one because noise isolation is zero and cant wear them for touring. Is that a joke #AGV ?
It's not a problem in AGV, the problem is in us the buyers. Pista is a dedicated track helmet, track is the place where this helmet really shines, and we want including me to do touring in it. So when agv design this helmet they did not pay attention to the wind noise and in ther defense they include in package pair of ear plugs 😀 To do touring in Pista is like to buy Panigale V4 to do cross contry rides,it can be done but it won't be very pleasing. But i understand you 💯 percent, i have buy another helmet for the street same is you,Pista is now track only lid.
@@ANAVIDTRAVELER Hey, even I'm from India... I'm asking few riders who own the AGV pista GP R, as it makes sense since they know a lot on it. Since agv Pista GP is expensive and used for the track only, which other agv helmet is better for road ?? I wanted to own an agv pista GP glossy carbon helmet. It's one of my dream helmets to own 😄 But in the comment section most of them are like it's since it's a racing helmet, wind noise would definitely be there... So go for another one. Do all their helmets function the same way related to wind noise? And which other AGV model would you recommend? I love to own a pretty good helmet by AGV, love the AGV glossy carbon, but don't know which other model provides it. The Pista GP looks freaking good ❤️ But due to wind noise I might step down on another one since I won't be taking it for track use. And you off course know how our Indian parents are 😂
Mate i just wanted to give heads up with some experience i have with Pista, this is not a rant against AGV , it is amazing lid for the track and i love it ,but it is not so great helemet for road use that was thw point of this video.
having the Shell shatter on impact and their “ patent visor lock “ brake off . I really questioning AGV “Extreme standards helmets”. I’m lucky to be alive, but now have to deal with cognitive memory issues. Seriously look into Aria if you care about your safety
You are right about that man,my Pista is now dedicated track helmet and for that use it's best lid in ghe world 👊🏼 That was the point of video great helmet just not for the street.
nice video tho, i really like it. I justed wanted to point out that i do have some answers for u 1. The visor lock mechanism is that way because the pista gp is meant to be wear on track as it's a racing helmet. 2. the noise, well yeah like u say for racing 3. i do agree that the vent pads is a stupid idea from AGV tho, i have the agv Veloce and the oppen and close thing is way better. But yeah i do have a pista GP R but i painly use it on the track and on the road i have my veloce S, it has no spoiler tho.
Tnx man that means a lot, I am glad you like it. That was kinda the point of video, Pista is the best helmet on the world if you use it for what is designed and that is race and track use, for everything else you should get another helmet. Veloce I great choice for the street,i will probably get one for this season.
What?? Seriously 😂. You review a carbon fibre helmet and expect the noise to be less?? It’s a racing spec helmet. They know it’s a loud helmet and that’s why they have provided you the ear plugs. I think it only your helmet that has a problem. 😂
Yea man i know now ,but i did not know years ago when i bought it,and yes you are completely right it's a race helmet. Point of this video is not to complain i love this helmet i have bought another one. I just wanted to share that this is amazing race and trackday helmet, and not so good street helmet nothing wrong there right ?
just modify ur helmet got my hjc rpha lighten more than the original weight modify vents even the liner dont rely on what your helmet do if you dont like the way it should be.. buy another one
its a race helmet.....thats all it was ever meant to be........people use commodities outside their intended use isnt the commodities fault, lol......buy a touring helmet
Yeap i got you man,and yes you are 💯 percent right this is race helmet, but trust me 90% of pista sold are on the streets. Like i said in the video if you want this helmet for trackday there is nothing better but for street not so much and that was the point of this vid.
1: during the race the visior need to be always closed. When you stop, you can open it. 2: you must learn how to operate this mechanism 3: it's a racing helmet! Muting is a very secondary issue. 4: there is no time to look back while racing. The spoiler is profiled to keep the helmet stabilized at 200 km/h 5: do I really need to explain this to you? ... it is a helmet that is not for the street use. if you bought it to drive on the street you are just stupid!
Agv has vent plugs that come with this helmet you do not need to tape the vents shut. This review sucks nobody should listen to this guy cuz he has no idea what he's talking about with this helmet. The helmet is loud because it's so well ventilated. The vents can be plugged with factory plugs from agv. The helmet also sounds like it's vibrating when you turn your head at high speed because the air is not flowing through the helmet properly and it's causing that sound. This helmet is designed for the full tuck riding position. Your review makes no sense and you are basically telling people not to get a great helmet. Also your visor is meant to be down when you're going anything over 25 so it's a good visor design if you want to ride around like an idiot with your visor up you might as well just take it off. 🤣😂
If you pay attention a little more ,you will see that i love this helmet since making this video i have bought another one, the point of this video is that this helmet is made for track ,for racing, and i have pointed flaws if you want to wear this helmet on the road. Again this is one of the best helmet ever made for racing not for street. Yes you get 2 pair of plugs for vents but because they are not attached for helemt i have lost them after one day. The vibration comes from rear spoiler because after time little crack shows up on the middle screw causing spoiler to vibrate like crazy. One of the best helmet ever made for racing. Airflow, aerodynamic, quality is best in the game . Don't be a fanboy man.
This isn't a real Pista GP R. It's a cheap knock off. Best thing about this video is, that the "Pista GP R" you're showing, is a "Corsa R". Where did you buy it from? Wish? I myself own a Corsa R and a 2020 Pista GP RR. This video is cheap bs. Sorry man.

@Motogents Well I don't track, just street🤣🤣🤣... however, I noticed you said it was extremely noisy ? I currently use an Arai Quantum X, and I find that to be the quietest so far.
Hey great video. Do you have any issues with the chin guard being to close to your mouth at speed
Moultrie T. Yeap ,beucase i am driving naked bike where's wind protection is zero ,chin guard is virtually slamed over my mounth 😕
I bought my helmet brand new less than 2 months ago and I have the same visor lock mechanism problem as you. Did you ever fix it?
Yeap well kinda , you can try adjusting visor mechnisam on both sides,in my case the only time that visor work like it should is when i lube the ruber gasket on the helmet.
Sorry for late replay mate.
GSXR Frank,
I'm confused which helmet to go for either the AGV Pista GP R/ Ruroc Atlas 3.0...
@@B1n4ryXpl0it the k1 or the k3 are awesome for road use I personally had both. But for me I’d go k1 for sure
@@gsxrfrank8787 that's the only helmet suitable for daily use by AGV?
Compared to the Ruroc Atlas 3.0, which is better?
Correct, agv is the best, comfortable and no noise issues
#1 reason...shit cost arm and a leg... it cost $1500.00 bucks here in 🇺🇲... damn thing is expensive
I agree with that man,it's a little less in europe but still expensive as shit 😅
Appreciate you for being real!!!!
Tnx man
Need to fully understand this is not a street helmet by any means at all, so wind noise is not great, everything about this helmet is perfection on track/Racing, you want a good AGV for the street go for the GP-R/K6/K3
Yeap that 💯 percent correct, amazing lid for the track but not so good for street.
K5 looks like sweet helmet for the streets 👊🏼
@@Motogents it is, the Pista Single R is a great track focused Street helmet, that’s what it was made for, the Double R is the exact helmet used in Moto GP
I just bought one. Good video.
You made a good choice.Congrats man and thank you 👊🏼✊🏼💨
Have the gpr. Great helmet for the track. Too loud for road. Other than that, great on road.
n300zx931 Yeap one of the best for track.
Ear plugs is a must for this lid.
Great review. Exactly what I was looking for
Tnx man that means a lot.
👊🏼✊🏼💨
Hahaha.. Dude, this is a racetrack helmet, of course it is not convenient. It is made for performance, not for riding around the city or long tours.
Yeap man i could not agree more, that was the point of the video, amazing helmet for track but not for road.
thanks this totally changed my perception on agv
This helmet was not designed for the street....but for those who insist there you go.
Of course it sucks on the street, it wasn't made for it
Yeap that is 💯 percent right 👊🏼
It's helpful.And I laughed 😃 too.
Tnx man that means a lot, glad you enjoy it 👌
I too own this helmet - I agree with the clasp sticking and the no indent to keep it partially open - other than those to annoyances i like it very much - mine is extremely quiet - the fit is definitely a race fit which means its a tight fit going on and equally tight when removing it - also I find that the profile of it is smaller than other AGV helmets I own - I am a perfect AGV Small but this helmet is definitely a race fit - I like it but use it only day rides as it would bother me if I were on a three or four day trip - I've found the best all around AGV helmet is the new K 5 SV ingegrated sun visor, plush lining vs the original K5 and and excellent fit - for the price its excellent
Wind noise is a not a good criteria, this is a racing helmet made for people that wear earplugs. The other points are quite interesting but because I'm a moron, my main criteria is the shape of the helmet. ;)
Curve Ahead I agree , you can't expect comfort with racing helmet,i always wear ear plugs.
👊🏼
this is a track helmet, these features are made for racing track
Sounds like tytpcial Italian engineering... beautiful but sub standard quality.
like a ferrari?
You said it already. It’s for the track.
Pista GPrr is a better version. But it’s still not for touring or daily...
buy a different type of of helmet for road use. Pista is not for road use.
Shoei gt air 2 is a better road use helmet
Yeap man i totally agree with that.
Thank you really so much
Sure mate ,glad you like it 👊🏼✊🏼💨
Italians companies have poor QC
Everyone have poor quality this days 😂
Kaisen fan ? 😀
dude that was hilarious!
heheheh glad you enjoyed mate. 👊🏼✊🏼💨
I think you may have a grey market helmet me dude
Unfortunately that is not the case , helmet was bought in official AGV store in my country.
@@Motogents Bugger 😬Maybe their QC is just crap
Vibrates like old NOKIA PHONE 🤣🤣🤣😂
Great hyelmet review.
Tnx mate ,that means a lot 👊🏼✊🏼
Riding over 25 miles an hour with your visor up isn't inconvenient. It's stupid.
Bro I am subscribing just because he is fucking funny as hell 😂😂😂
That is what i want to hear, welcome man 🤣🤣
Hahahahaha!!! Thanks for making this video with relating to ur 3rd point , i too have pista gp-r and installed sena 10c pro and it only picked wind noise in video and i removed and checked the mic more than 5 times and even complained to sena for wind noise ,later got to know that it's helmet fault as its way too loud and is not at all a touring helmet😐
Finally ordered shoei gt air 2 , lets hope this one would b little quieter 😌
So when agv design this helmet they did not pay attention to the wind noise and in ther defense they include in package pair of ear plugs 😀
To do touring in Pista is like to buy Panigale V4 to do cross contry rides,it can be done but it won't be very pleasing.
But i understand you 💯 percent, i have buy another helmet for the street same is you,Pista is now track only lid.
@@Motogents hahahahaha 😆 same thoughts brother .
I have r1 and can relate it with cross country rides 😂
Same like taking agv on adv trips 😑😐
@@ANAVIDTRAVELER
Hey, even I'm from India...
I'm asking few riders who own the AGV pista GP R, as it makes sense since they know a lot on it.
I'm confused which helmet to go for either the AGV Pista GP R/ Ruroc Atlas 3.0/ any other good helmet....
Since agv Pista GP is expensive and used for the track only, which other agv helmet is better for road ??
I wanted to own an agv pista GP glossy carbon helmet.
It's one of my dream helmets to own 😄
But in the comment section most of them are like it's since it's a racing helmet, wind noise would definitely be there... So go for another one.
Do all their helmets function the same way related to wind noise?
And which other AGV model would you recommend?
I love to own a pretty good helmet by AGV, love the AGV glossy carbon, but don't know which other model provides it.
The Pista GP looks freaking good ❤️
But due to wind noise I might step down on another one since I won't be taking it for track use.
And you off course know how our Indian parents are 😂
Since you acknowledge that it's a racing helmet, why are you talking about daily use with it
if this Helmet sucks for you, then buy a 100$ helmet and lets see what happen if you have an accident....
Mate i just wanted to give heads up with some experience i have with Pista, this is not a rant against AGV , it is amazing lid for the track and i love it ,but it is not so great helemet for road use that was thw point of this video.
That’s a reason why you have ONLY 2k subscribe 😂😂😂
Yeah maybe you right 🤣🤣🤣🤣
having the Shell shatter on impact and their “ patent visor lock “ brake off . I really questioning AGV “Extreme standards helmets”. I’m lucky to be alive, but now have to deal with cognitive memory issues. Seriously look into Aria if you care about your safety
Your Alive 🌏Hope you have a Full Recovery 🌈
Did you have the Pista?
what helmet did you have?
Shark Race R Pro Gp better I love it
I have owned a lot of helmets over the years, but i didn't try Shark.
I like Race R Pro that ridiculous big wing on the back looks very cool 👊🏼
Cool..usefull.i like it
Tnx man ,glad you like it 👊🏼✊🏼💨
I had this helmet I really liked it. Yeah it's loud but it's got serious ventilation. Honestly don't think you know what your talking about.
Nice review and commentary 👍
Tnx man, that means a lot.
Damn... that sucks... was helpful
Tnx man 👊🏼
They say it’s a “race helmet” but when I’m on my Ducati panigale v4 im on a “racing bike” so I will be wearing mine for daily riding.
It’s very hard to suck blood from helmet
Not sure I understand mate
@@Motogents he's making fun of your accent
How dare he ! 🤣
Lol I’m sorry 😂 I just got this helmet and I love it
thats a racing helmet you dont open your visor usually lol ....u bought wrong helmet for city drive
You are right about that man,my Pista is now dedicated track helmet and for that use it's best lid in ghe world 👊🏼
That was the point of video great helmet just not for the street.
Mine doesn’t slam down
Maybe I am jinxed with my Pista 🥲
nice video tho, i really like it. I justed wanted to point out that i do have some answers for u
1. The visor lock mechanism is that way because the pista gp is meant to be wear on track as it's a racing helmet.
2. the noise, well yeah like u say for racing
3. i do agree that the vent pads is a stupid idea from AGV tho, i have the agv Veloce and the oppen and close thing is way better.
Its a shitty helmet dont buy it. Get the k6 instead! Much better most of these problems were addressed on that helmet. Nice review my friend!
seems like 2 of the issues are just back luck on the helmet you got :/
Yeap after i put the video up,and saw all the comments look like my Pista is little defective 😒
There are two closed position
Yeap man i know, but the problem is when you fully open visor it doesn't want to stay open 😀
this is a race helmet. it sucks when ur riding sucks
Mate you are on point a totally agree with that 👊
I just wanted to share that this is amazing race and trackday helmet, and not so good street helmet nothing wrong there right ?
just modify ur helmet got my hjc rpha lighten more than the original weight modify vents even the liner dont rely on what your helmet do
if you dont like the way it should be.. buy another one
its a race helmet.....thats all it was ever meant to be........people use commodities outside their intended use isnt the commodities fault, lol......buy a touring helmet
I agree with everything you are saying , that was the point of the video, great lid for track not so much for the road.
Wtf with this review is suck, obviously because this helmet is for track use only its so laughable if you will use it in touring or street🥴
Yeap i got you man,and yes you are 💯 percent right this is race helmet, but trust me 90% of pista sold are on the streets.
Like i said in the video if you want this helmet for trackday there is nothing better but for street not so much and that was the point of this vid.
there is vent cover
Doesn’t even look like the helmet is authentic AGV
How did you came to that conclusion?
Bro!...you do know this is a race inspired helmet, right? 🤦
Yeah bro i know,i said it in the video, that this is amazing lid for the track.
I was just highlighting flaws on the road. 👊🏼✊🏼💨
@@Motogentssorry, I might have missed that part. My bad.
Hahaha thnx😂💪🏻
Great video bro
Valdemar Damsø Tnx mate, that means a lot ✊🏼👊🏼
just buy a k1 and $800 worth of drinks...long story short
expensieve like hiel
Yeap, pista is more on expensive side 🤣
1: during the race the visior need to be always closed. When you stop, you can open it.
2: you must learn how to operate this mechanism
3: it's a racing helmet! Muting is a very secondary issue.
4: there is no time to look back while racing. The spoiler is profiled to keep the helmet stabilized at 200 km/h
5: do I really need to explain this to you?
... it is a helmet that is not for the street use.
if you bought it to drive on the street you are just stupid!
Yeap you are right 👊🏼
If you pay attention a little more ,you will see that i love this helmet since making this video i have bought another one, the point of this video is that this helmet is made for track ,for racing, and i have pointed flaws if you want to wear this helmet on the road.
Nice review
Tnx mate 👍🏼👊🏼
This isn't a real Pista GP R. It's a cheap knock off. Best thing about this video is, that the "Pista GP R" you're showing, is a "Corsa R". Where did you buy it from? Wish? I myself own a Corsa R and a 2020 Pista GP RR. This video is cheap bs. Sorry man.
Bl4rc This is Agv Pista bought from official diler in my country, for almost 20 years of my riding i have never bought knock off gear, especially not helmet.
Its obviously pista.. corsa dont use carbon fibre as material..
Cool video 👍🏻
Tnx mate 👊🏼
Motogentlemens hey bro actually i too want to buy this helmet nd i want it for daily commute , nd I’ve a harley roadster ( cafe racer style ) , so jst wanna know is it good for daily ride
@@Official.Kstoor I use my Pista in every scenario track day, touring across Europe, daily commute and yes it can be done.
Just have on mind that is a very noisy helmet, and airflow vents are a pain in the ass because it is just rubber plugs and I will lose it very fast.
But on the plus side, it is a very light helmet with a tone of airflow if you live somewhere hot that is important.
So for daily commute I think it would be a good option, just don't do touring across the country and you are golden.
I hope I help you a little bit.
Thx
hey dude you are revieiwing an AGV china helmet not the real one
Dude i dont know how you get to this conclusion but this is no china helmet 🤔
It's not called Pista for nothing...
Yep thats right 👊🏼
agv is overrated, just buy an Arai
I would not say it is overrated,it is awsome company, they make great lids, pista is great helmet for track use.
Arai also make super quality helmets 👊🏼
Its one ugly helmet forsure 🤮

@@Motogents yepp second that, but I dont like helmets with sharp edges. Looks so stupid imo. And the agv has angles like a knife
