    I bought a 2022 Pursuit Limited in September of 2022 and haven't looked back.
    I've ridden everything from mini bikes, motocross, and cruisers in 55 years of saddle time. From the age of 18 until the age of almost 62, I've been on cruisers. Riding back roads was always the thing that made me happy. However, now that I'm retired, it's time for me to hit the road, and the Pursuit is what I decided on.
    After 4 years of medical problems that nearly killed me 3 times, nothing is going to stop me from going to those places that I have yet to see.
    Great review, and your audio is fantastic.

      Thank you, I appreciate that! Happy to hear you're riding and nothing is stopping you! I have a whole list of place I want to see and my Indian is going to get me there like a faithful steed. I have been nothing but happy with mine since the day I bought it.

    I've had my Pursuit for 9 months now and I absolutely love it. I drove Goldwings for 20 years and they are still the best (2001-2017), but I wanted a change and this bike suits my needs as I do not like the latest Goldwing.

      There are things I like about road glides too. I’ve ridden them all, and I have a Harley and an Indian. I like the pursuit better overall, but I would never dismiss a road glide from the competition. The new 2024 one I especially enjoyed with the better handling. Harley stepped up their game this past year.

    I have that same bike as a 2022.... so not actually new for 2023? That bike comes with heated seat, cooled seat is one of the few upgrades that does not come stock. Might want to check those specs on the stereo as well. The electronic shock is only standard on the Premium Pursuits and I have never felt mine lower and raise as I ride...??? That bike has its own cellar connection for weather and traffic if you pay the annual subscription which also lets you get direct downloads for updates to the bike's electronics such as GPS or flash's. HD exhaust sound is generally better to me comparing stock to stock but my Rineharts fixed that! LOL

    I'm in the market for a road sofa, Mrs jumped on the back AND ENJOYED IT, so is egging me on to buy a tourer...
    Choices are :-
    23 Indian Pursuit Dark Horse, Black - NZ$48995
    23 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT - NZ$49995
    23 BMW K1600GTL - NZ$51995
    23 Harley Fergusson Ultra - NZ$77995
    I think, in all honesty, looking purely at the price alone, the BMW and the tractor are out... Leaves the Honda and the Indian...
    I've never driven either, but I do have an NT1100 with DCT, and I'm not ashamed to say I like it. I've owned an FTR1200S with its fair share of teething problems, but my dealer tells me that the pursuit doesnt suffer the same silliness the FTR came with. Have you ridden the Goldwing? Would you rate it? Would you rate it better than the Indian?

    • @Valkyrie0307
      @Valkyrie0307 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I can offer my opinion and I hope this would help in your decision. I have owned and ridden way too many bikes to list but they include a 2023 Pursuit exactly like the bike you see in this video and I use to own a 2018 GoldWing Tour DCT.
      The Wing feels cooler when riding it on hot days. The DCT transmission is great once you get used to it. The Wing is the ultimate in reliability. The fuel economy on the new Wing is AMAZING. I was averaging around 45mpg with many 50mpg+ tankfuls.
      The Pursuit handles better and the suspension is superior on the Pursuit. The ride command has way more information and has a better display. The gas tank is a little larger on the Pursuit. The ability to remove the top box so easily and transform this tourer into a cruiser is fantastic! The top loading and much larger saddlebags on the Pursuit is a game changer for me.
      I hope this helps you.

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have ridden multiple Goldwings (all with DCT system), and all variants of the Pursuit/Challengers from Indian. My personal favorite is the Indian. I may be biased, as I own and Indian and it has always been an incredible bike. But the handling of the pursuit and the power is the best of any bike I've ridden. I have several reviews on the Goldwings on my channel, as well as a review of the Saddlemen Road Sofa seat as well if the Mrs. is interested :) Hopefully between that info and those videos it will help in the decision making process. Best advice I can ever, ever give anyone. TEST RIDE THEM FOR YOURSELF. NEVER buy a bike without riding. If you go take a ride on both you'll know almost immediately which one feels/fits you best - and in the end that's all that matters.

  • @robwinegar9033

    After just sitting on a Challenger in the showroom and picking it up to vertical from the kickstand, I was amazed and stunned at how light it felt. I was dead set on a Road Glide because of the nimble handling and the fantastic fork-mounted fairing, but after the abuse I suffered from Avalanche Harley in Golden, Colorado, I nixed that idea. Also, with all the issues of the M8 on my Road King and the thousands of dollars that have to go into "fixing" the M8, I will never buy another Harley. I have yet to ride a Challenger/Pursuit and hope to do that this year, but it certainly looks like my next bike.

    Personally I'll stick with our 2023 Ultra Limited Harley-Davidson..
    At 70 years young I've riden since I was 15 and the first bike being a 1952 BMW from Canadian Military auction North Alberta ...
    Later on have had Kawasaki 900.. Honda 440 Super Sport ..Honda 750 ..Suzuki V-Strom ..thought about BMW 1250 ..
    Thanks but no thanks on Indian.. did test rides ..
    And after more than 55 yrs in the saddle across Canada half a dozen times Coast to Coast and having ridden on Asian continent I'll stick with Iconic Harley-Davidson as our go to for comfort.. handling and enjoyment till the day I die ..

    Solid review. Am a new an Indian pursuit owner.2023 premium limited. This is by far the best bike I’ve owned. Have been through 5 triumph motorcycles in the last year and a half. Loved em all. But have finally found the bike that really does it for me. A lot of my riding is local back rides. And it rips and is a total pleasure even for shorter, twisty rides. Also, i went with the pursuit instead of challenger because the trunk comes off and on in less than two minutes. So you are really getting two bikes in one. And when you wanna go far. Pop on that trunk. And great for the passenger. And that power plus 108 engine can’t be beat in a stock motor. Probably comparable to Harley’s 121 vvt motor

    I rode it to Iowa and had Rylan install Lloydz highway cams, ¼ turn throttle, timing wheel, air filter and Atomic exhaust.
    He tuned it to 110/110, raised the rpm by 500 and top speed is 130 mph.

An older guy that I know however has two Indians and has just ordered ones of these and I was intruiged so I came looking for a review. I certainly would like an adventure or tourer/cruiser bike as my seoncd bike one day but for the time being one will do. Really impressed with some of the technology on this thing, looks like it would be a dream for long distance. I live in the UK so a bike like this would be great for touring around Europe. One day!

    Im used to 43 gal. of storage on the Vic Cross Country Tour . The top of the Vics bags are rounded to match the fender adding some room and the tour pack is larger but still 35s not bad.

      Great to meet you too! I'm impressed the Harleys could do 105 😉 I actually took one of the Harleys up to beyond 110 👀 I mean, in the name of science. The research I have to do to make these videos for you guys 🤣

    They governed it because the stock tires are not rated over 120 I think

    Just picked up my new Pursuit last Friday. WOW! You are correct about the 9.5 out of 10 for comfort! The seat is just heated only.
    They do have a heated/cooled seat available. The premium package comes with heated seat only.

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got a chance to try the new heated/cooled seat on another test ride that will be coming up on the channel soon. I was amazed it actually worked. It's not like sitting on an ice block or anything, but it definitely keeps your butt much cooler and drier when riding. Thoroughly impressed with Indian's work on that.

    MOTO Indian definitely put a lot of tech into manufacturing this bike but totally failed on styling , they will never have the classic lines of a HD , and to be totally honest the engine sounds like it’s about to blow up they should have kept manufacturing the Victory line of bikes , thanks for the review of a soulless bike

      If you think so 😉 I make jokes about the BMW guys because I have friends who ride them. I've tried them, can't stand them - they're not for me. Doesn't matter to me what you ride as long as you're out there on 2 wheels having fun.

    I want one! I noticed that you didn't say anything about the PRICE! I'm one of those guys that has a "rich man's taste on a poor man's wallet!" So, I'm sure going by how much I would LOVE to go buy one of these Indians, I probably couldn't afford it.
