@@regularslick6038 alittle late but in the Live Action Casshern movie, after having a brutal battle Barui invades the human city and returns to the facility where he was essentially "reborn" after his death. In the facility Luna [Cassherns love interest], Cassherns father, one of the Neo Sapiens, and another Scientist who assisted Cassherns father are located in the room. Barui's vessel crashes into the building causing it to collapse and Casshern lands in the room exhausted after the previous battle, in a stroke is AMAZING editing, right as the vocals kick in the doors to Barui's vessel opens up and he is standing there looking regal as fuck. He proceeds to give a small speech about this is where he was born and how he should address Cassherns father as his father but his hatred is as deeps as a childs love, claims Casshern as his new brother, picks him up and walks off along with Luna who also picks up the Neo-Sapien and they leave.
4:22 till the end...AWESOME!!!!....it sounds like a "metal gear solid" theme, i mean, it could be perfect for one of those many movie sequences....great work!!!
@Keijokainen Sagisu is simply one of the worlds premiere composers. His poweer to creat mood, change emotion, evoke deep feelings and guide the viewer on the journey is awe inspiring. This piece of music is primus inter pares of his skill. Not that I think any less of any other japanese or world composer, but Sagisu is in amongst the very best composers of the modern age. And I feel better for having heard his work.
Tried to show this movie to a few people, nobody really got it, called it a terrible film...I disagree, it is one of the best I have ever seen, soo much heart!
I loved Cashhern, there was a slight bit of bad directing in the film like some of the scenes but for cinematics and drama it was amazing nothing else like it, I really liked some of the bleach score but you think you are usually biast behind your anime but shiro sagisu is a genuis ?
@ericmcfadden Perhaps. But having not seen it, I still love the film. It's an artistic masterpiece to me. It did feel like it had holes in, but many do. Would rather that, than not have it at all :\
I think Casshern the movie was made to send a message to all people. Which message it is I can't tell you. You need to find out that message by your own. ;)
It's from the tau stronghold defense dialogues th-cam.com/video/b5ZiQmHZ5B4/w-d-xo.html Hearing those dialogues with this ost really gives special fellings For the greater good!
@ryukenb2k I dont disagree with ur message at all, but plenty of war and dictorship exists beyond the west, these things know no geography...you talk about media portrayal, but your views are biased as well, as are mine
Ah yes... the song of "FIRE WARRIORS, BEAT THESE ENEMIES BACK, PROTECT AUN'EL AT ALL COSTS!"
Auinel: "Return to the graves that spawned you, monsters!"
Pariah: "Gladly, but first we must help you to yours."
Greatest burn, hotter than the Salamanders
The necrons never failed to impress me
Glad you all enjoy the song. I agree it's utterly beautiful and criminally it remains unheard by so so many.

Tell me what scene was this?
“Strike teams! Deploy to Unity Plaza, defend that tower!”
“Cut through them men! For the Emperor!”
I do not fear you, human, we fight for the Greater Good !
>greater good >tau >relevant tau are alive because of how insignificant they are
"Do the deaths of your soldiers mean so little to you? Are you that mad?" EPIC!
Do the deaths of your soldiers mean so much to you? Are you that weak?!
BattleFrog at least that's looking like it might change soon with the recent codex

Came here because Warhammer
Casshern was one of the better live action adaptions I have seen for anime series...This scene is one example of why it was good...
Always hit me straight in the feels this piece of music, and the scene is devastating.
Indeed but its awesome how Casshern turns up ... smashes through the falling masonary and lands on his feet...
TheRX1982
Mind telling me the description of this scene you are talking about?

Couldn't have said it better myself, I have been listening to him avidly for years. No one can say they do it better than Sagisu.
His work on Eva says alot.
Only thing I question of him is adding the U to the end of his name.
Oh the one word that comes in my mind when I listen to this song.
Bankai.
+ElBadriano Ave SoulMadness!
🤭💛
When he saw Yachiru again and she gave him bankai for the first time
It's all the same song. It has no official name, on the soundtrack it is called Scene #51.

While from 4:22 is epic, the build up to it is equally glorious.
